Angels and dynasty are two of my all time favourite shows. My friends have taken the piss out of me for years because I have them all on dvd. It’s all so camp and glamorous. The late 70s and 80s always feel like magical time to me.
I am a Farrah Fawcett fan but I love Cheryl Ladd she was really a nice addition, the show did not go downhill in anyway until Kate Jackson left Shelley Hack is also a wonderful actress but I believe the original feel was missing and Tanya Roberts I was never feeling her on that show the show continued long after Farrah left it may have been do to the fact that because of her contract she had to return for the second season for some guest appearances
I have respect for all six of Charlie's angels and I wished that one day when this virus is over I would like to see if the coaches at Bloomfield Park could talk to special Olympics headquarters to see if it's okay to get Kate Jason and Jaclyn Smith to be our special guest celebrity reporters for our basketball fundraiser at the home of Champions Del Valle Park in the city of Lakewood California where we like to call it sports town USA
My favorite parts of the opening credit is not only the theme song but every single cast member being introduced get to show their own personalities. My favorite into is Cheryl Ladd. Second is Jaclyn Smith.

And as a teenager I thought, no way would you get away with that type of sexism and patronising tone towards women now. I'm surprised they did even then It should have have been "Once upon a time there were three intelligent women who trained in the police academy and given menial jobs. i love every episode have them all bit of a freak with it , blame my gran for buying them on dvd i wasn't even born when it was on tv , my favourite angel is the less popular Tiffany Welles , they never gave her a chance and made a big mistake replacing her , they should have just left it for another year she got better as time went on and the episodes aired out of sequence which meant she wasn't featured until mid season , and season 1 theme is the best gives me goosebumps .
Nahh show was lame after Farrah left,you didn't see kate,jaclyn,and CHERYL on the fornt of Time magazine,Dolls,bubbler gum cards ect,i just got my season 1 DVD's,as I watch them now,KELLY GARRETT was the best Angel(Jaclyn Smilth) but I was a Farrah fanatic as a 10 year old boy, Angels in Cahins will always be the best episode EVER,yes season 2 was decent,and Cheryl was a great replacement for Farrah,but no LIVING WOMAN would be capable of filling that spot when Farrah left as cherly has said in interview she felt she was "Farrah Fawcett MINOR"
Let me correct my last statement because it came out wrong Cheryl came in and did a excellent job of replacing Farrah but they also developed her character and she had a little say on how to handle it so we all know this drama that Kate never warmed up to Cheryl and was not thrilled with her Castine Inn they never really got along but on screen you never would’ve known so by the third season I think no matter if Kate would’ve been allowed to do Kramer versus Kramer that was Kates final season she had had enough you know she was a big champion of better Scripps and that never happened so at the end of the season either she was fired or she quit whichever way you read it so then they go on this media bit bullets of a new replacement so I know that Michelle Pfeiffer and Ringo Starr‘s wife Barbara Bach auditioned and Shelley hack was late to come into the auditions and they thought great the Charlie girl becoming the new angel the problem was first the way that they handled the Tiffany wells character meaning for the first 10 episodes she barely was given anything to do she barely have any lines she wasn’t featured until the 10th episode of the season so the ratings started to drop a little bit but once they start a beef and up the Tiffany roll and also going to solo adventures from team adventures really hurt the show so for people to just blame Shelly for everything was ridiculous and I don’t blame her by the end of the season wanting to leave and who would blame her you’re being blamed for everything so we begin the fifth season and they bring in who I say is the worst angel she’s beautiful but the worst angel Tanyia Roberts and I guess the producers thought the show was all about tits and ass and it wasn’t but she didn’t have a chance and she suffered the same fate as Shelly but her feet only lasted 16 episodes I think by the fifth season Jackie had a habit and then now she was leaving I don’t see Tanyia becoming the new sensation and I think also Cheryl had have a Knouff also so it was sad but the moment that Kate left the show It just went downhill and it wasn’t the actresses fault because remember they’re doing their job the producers the riders have a lot to do with the downfall of the show after cake left so it was sad because I think they could’ve did a lot with Tiffany sorry that’s my favorite Angel and I think also since it was only going to last 16 episodes they could’ve renewed her contract but I think Shelley also wanted to leave so it was a mutual decision

the problem was when Sherrill came in his Pharaoh's replacement they handled her character well and introduced her well and she was accepted by the public because they did something with her character and I've read and we all know that Kate Jackson didn't care for her and they weren't friends Jacqueline and Smith and her were and still are friends but after Kate left the show Tanked and it wasn't Shelly hacks fault as so many people try to blame her I blame that on the producers the way they handled Tiffany Wells and barely given her anything to do till half the season so how was anybody supposed to get to know her and then blame her for the crappy scripts and the lack of characterization of Tiffany Wells so instead of improving the character and changing the scripts and given Shelly more to do by the time they did the show had slipped but not as bad it slipped in season 3 of people need to remember it was only in the top 10 for the first two seasons so they thought well getting the right pretty face they could submit anything so they can shut her Shelly left I heard it was a mutual decision then they brought in 10 your Robertson she suffered the same fate as Shelly the differences she had a big W and then was forgotten in the 16 episodes for 1 episode The focused on her character attack Angels by then I think they were saw the writing on the wall they wanted to get their syndication deal and port in you suffered for it too so it wasn't her fault either and also Jaclyn Smith didn't know she was leaving at the end of the season so you know it really did suffer after Kate left I think Kate do her weight around because she knew what she wanted for the show but by the third season and had dropped out of the top 10 and you know they were doing the same scripts and Kate was getting frustrated as she stated in many interviews so she was actually fired people need to know that she was not she did not leave she was fired but I think she would have left anyway she wanted to leave so her contract was not renewed just like Shelly hacks contract was not renewed so unfortunately the producers thought the same episodes the same storylines just get the right pretty face that can submit ship well they got egg on their face

Agree on all counts. I liked the short version of season 2 also - very jazzy. It'd be great if someone had it and shared one day.

I'll admit Cheryl Ladd does seem like the perfect addition to the show, but no one can replace Farrah Fawcett 100%.

Kate Jackson is and always will be a pretty woman. Would've loved to to see kate Jackson return for season 5 of Charlie's angels.
