I can say that Dragonforce is my favorite power-metal band for sure.
I've been listening for a music for about 10+ years, and I've heard hundreds bands and thousands songs, but still I can't find something similar to this guys. Their music is really specific, even for power-metal. And I don't think that we can compare Dragonforce with other power metal bands like Rhapsody or Dreamtale or something - it's all power-metal, but in the same time it's completely different music.
The main thing that I like in Dragonforce is the concentration of motivation in their songs. If you feel depressed or you think that you lost your way and can't fight no more - this music can help (at least for me). For example I listening to their songs while I'm running - and I literally can't stop, even I'm really tired at the moment :D
I've read a lot of different opinions - some say that they songs are all the same and you can't see the difference between them - I may agree with it, but after a couple of years with their songs on my player I'd rather say that each song had some unique moments, for example listen to the ending of The Warrior (1:07:33), or to the symphonic solo at Operation Ground And Pound (19:56). For me as a fan of this stuff - their songs is never enough.
Also I think that the style they playing now with new singer is kinda different, so I decided to separate this mix in two with each singer. This mix has only ZP songs. In compare with new ones - they have long instrumental parts, which I didn't like from the start (when I firstly heard this music) - and really like now. ZP vocal is so powerful on studio recording, and so bad at live performances. To be honest - I really like them to record more songs with ZP, his voice is perfect for their style, so maybe one day... I hope...
And a few words about lyrics - it's so standard to power-metal genre, and I'm not a fan of texts in power, but this band... I want to listen their songs over and over, singing along with the COURAGE AND BRAVE. It's like a hymn of hope and I really happy that world have at least one band that helping people feeling this wholly.

I completely agree. Dragonforce is the first (also the only) Power-Metal band I listen to. I didn't even know Power Metal existed until I heard Cry Thunder. that was their first song I heard. Dragonforce is my favorite band overall actually. I kinda made a little Nightcore playlist compilation. none of the songs I nightcored myself tho. just thought I should clarify that. (I also just added ur compilation to it. that's not a problem is it?)
Also I was on their show in Moscow on 12 November, such a sick show. And it's not only about music, but I really like this guys as a person. For example Sam come to us while we were waiting on the entrance of club just to talk with us and take some pictures. And they stayed with fans in the club for the rest of the night. I like their way to communicate with people, so there's only bright feelings left about this show. Hope they would return one more time to Russia, or even more (;
I've started listening to other power metal bands besides Dragonforce. Sabaton and Powerwolf is surprising similar to Dragonforce and each other. I thought they were all different from each other. meh I must've been expecting it to be much more different than it actually was. (I actually forgot I commented on this video)

Funny to think about 5 or 6 years ago, I was getting into power metal and this is the first mix that really got me into Dragonforce
All this time later, they’ve been my favorite, with a tattoo of their logo on my right shoulder, and I just saw them in LA November 19th, last Sunday. I’m so glad I found this video all those years ago :’)
The Flame of Youth is a very under rated song imo. I wish they would have played that live. Its no more demanding than Operation Ground and Pound. Lost Souls is a hard af song to play live because ZP never had that kind of breath support post 2006 down tuning. This is really awesome, thank you for making it. Would like to see another ZP mix as well with E.P.M. in it

The moment i was scrolling through my. playlist of nightcore i saw this. and was wonder who is dragonforce but the moment. I clicked on this vid i have not been stopping. Through the fire and flames carry on my friend carry on. Your music is great and i love it
OMG ITS BAAACK!!! I thought this comp got taken down for good but I’m so happy!! This playlist got me into power metal and I now have a Dragonforce Tattoo because they are my favorite band! Hope someday you’ll make more Power Metal Mixes!! :D

I don't think that I would make power-metal bands soon, maybe later after some rock bands
but i'm watching at rhapsody, dreamtale and powerwolf at this point, so maybe if would not be lazy :D

Great mix, but to be honest I do not believe that Dragonforce needed this. It almost seems too intense to enjoy the already intense music.
In my opinion it's the worst powermetal mix you've done . But is like saing that Cars is the worst Pixar film... so still rocks very hard. Congratulations for your work :)
