I was so excited when Amanda let us know you'd posted a video. I've wanted a "poky tool" forever and have admired Amanda's every time she used it. Thank you for sharing.
I’ve never seen these made before! Or the needles! I wouldn’t have thought to use glossy ascents either😮What a great tutorial I’m gonna make one thank you for sharing Pam👏🏼🥰
They are amazing! Glad I saw the link on Amanda's FB. Thank you, so much, for taking the time to make this tutorial, I am very grateful x As a dog owner/lover myself, it does tickle me how they command our attention when we are trying to get on with something else that does not involve them LOL
Thanks for the tutorial Pam. Here in the US, it can be difficult to find broken jewelry at a reasonable price. I purchased a bag of beads from old jewelry at a thrift store. When I got home discovered that half of the bag was the long seed beads. I have no idea what I'm going to do with them.
Oh No, I envy all the stores you have in the US, we have very few stores like hobby lobby or dollar tree store, our thrift stores have become rather expensive too, I'm a collector from way back so I've been lucky enough to pick up some great items before they became too pricey thanks for watching 🙂
Thank you, I have so many favorites too, the international mail is really expensive as I'm in Australia but I could look into it if you like, my email is in my about information
Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful tutorial! These are beautiful and bring joy to the crafting world! I’m guessing that they are approximately a 6 inch needle ??
Thanks so much for this video!! And thanks tons to Ms Amanda for sharing it! I've shared it with some of my folks too. I am excited to make some of these for my papercrafting gals! Can I ask about the little metal bit you put on the end to finish it off? What are they called? I've heard folks use those silicone earring backs, but I love the idea of a metallic finishing.
@@DanaSullivan thank you Dana for watching, hope it was helpful, and thank you for sharing, the last bit I put on the was just a bead cap. The silicone earring piece at the bottom was just for protection while stored, it’s just an earring back and I have seen metal ones too but I just use what I have hope that helps and thanks again for watching and welcome to my channel
I found some long doll needles. They look like the tailors needles Pam is using. They are just short of 5 inches long and come 2 to a pack. I don't plan on making as many as Pam has, 😊 so 2 should be enough for now. I found them in Hobby Lobby. They are the Sew-ology brand.
Hi Deborah, I use mine to poke holes for my journal binding, also use it to remove backing paper on my tape and positioning gems, so many uses thanks for watching 🙂
Love these! I can see why you’d get addicted to making them. So many combinations and colours to use. Tfs
