Thanks for the video bro, appreciate your time and effort here with these. I am about to start planting out Vetiver circles around all our exotic fruit trees
Amazing! Can the lateral expansion of this plant be restricted? I would like to plant it in the form of a FENCE … so it can grow up (leaves) and down (roots) no problem, but I would like to restrict its diameter. Can this be done with stones on the soil?
I originally bought a couple of trays from a farm called Agiflora (facebook.com/AgrifloraTropicals/) here in Puerto Rico. They ship to the US. I planted some of the plants in the trays for my own propagation in the future.
VelaCreations very quickly, I will say in a couple of months you can divide a plug in to a handful of slips. It will take a couple of years for a plug to be able to be divided in to many slips as seen in the video.
Hi Jo- One of the great things about vetiver is that it is not invasive. You can rest assure that the vetiver that you plant will only grow wider and taller in the same place. I am not set up to ship. But I recomend this company that it does ship to california: www.agrifloratropicals.com/
I so want to learn from these videos but the audio sucks. Can't hear you. Yall need to do something about that. It's very annoying. I usually move on when channels like this continue to not have proper audio in their videos.
Thank you very much for your comprehensive information.
Glad it was helpful!

What State are you located? If you're in Northern California, where are you located?

it really doesnt grow out laterally. I like to plant them along chainlink fences, they always stay right in place. It forms nice tidy hedges.
¿En dónde tú vives?

Can I buy Vetiver slips from you? I am in California. (Are these the seedless varieties, so they do not become invasive?)
Thank you.

How long vetiver could live?...is it only 9 months than die??
man inlovv it’s a perennial clump grass. It last’s many years. I have seen 8 year old plants. But I am not sure exactly how long it lasts..
@@fernandomaldonado4444 It can survive 100 years.
