Phil Jackson knew Porzingis didn’t want to be there. He also tried to start the rebuild 3 years earlier than the 2019 free agency. Phil also is responsible for the Knicks having all of their draft picks in 2020 and beyond. Looking back, Phil Jackson knew exactly what he was doing, he just couldn’t say it publicly.

Dude Porzingis cannot play defense, he gets exposed so badly when he has to come out and guard out to the arc. I even remember Draymond Green roasting him 1v1, and Draymond has some of the most generic predictable offensive moves in the game. Coming from a Knicks fan if they trade Porzingis I'm done with this team. Only way I'll accept it is if and that's a big "IF" they trade Porzingis to Boston for the #3 pick this year, Brooklyn's pick for next year and Jaylen Brown. Boston would get their rim protector and they can still go for Hayward in free agency. The Knicks will get two good prospects this year and hopefully the Brooklyn pick goes 1 and they draft Michael Porter jr.
