MrBossFTW it’s been kicking me every 5mins for the last 11/2 if I kill anything I lose it when it boots me it costing me every time I log back in for a camp that’s on the other side of the map so till that fix it no xp no cash just a 5 minute target because if I shoot back it boots me 🙄

@@syphon1239 A dollar having the buying power of about $35 today is alot of buying power for 1 dollar. that is 3500% more buying power than $1 today not taking into account pricing inflation. that is pretty big. you could rent on average a 4 bedroom house in those days for about $8 a month or $2 a week. how much is the median house rental in the US per week for a 4 bedroom today? $1 could buy you a huge amount back then and that was my point.

No one to rob, no train to rob St Deans is empty the last dam thing I want to do is grind and go fishing like a fool the online is a flop.
One tip me and my friend did was you can carry a second dead animal... the first one goes on your horse the second one you use the lasso and lasso the dead animal unskin and drag it to the butcher
Here's another one for you. Head West from Blackwater to where the buffalo spawn. It's easiest if you have scoped rifle and the bolt action rifle. First kill a 3 star with your scoped rifle. Then immediately switch to your bolt action and ride down 2 or 3 more for the meat. Also there is a cougar Southwest near the windmill in the same area that will spawn and can easily be taken down with the bolt action. The 3 star sells for 9.50 per carcass and 6 for the pelt.
There’s nothing more efficient in the game than the entire prairie west of blackwater. It’s easily $140-$150 an hour.

One thing I think rockstar should enable is, a stealth mode: as long as you are crouched, your overhead hud and map display should be invisible (unless if you are a part of a posse). That would be me a must!

Me and my friend would go hunting and bring our horses. Also wild horses for extra cash. Its a real easy method as well. You might get around 10 to 15 dollars a run
My advice start picking up plants seriously it might feel slow but gather all the plants you can from multiple states or just one go sell them to the Valentine doctor or saint Dennis doctor

Spazzman and LeniseRose for real. I actually like playing RDO more than the the main story because I like having some kind of a grind. Is the grind to much yes. But at least it’s not like story mode when you have like 30k and nothing else to grind for or missions or nothing but a bunch of Easter eggs to uncover
I played the entire game twice probably over 100 hours on the campaign itself. As for online ive played atleast 10 hours and i can tell you prices are too damn high and making money is trash. Ive tried hunting to make money but apparently its animal cruelty for some reason. So yes it is trash and all because they want to sell microtransactions which will make me not want to play the game.

If you’re worried about griefers change your MTU on PlayStation to 750. Basically creates you’re own lobby. No other players in game at that point.
I want to feel like an outlaw whilst playing online, I want to rob people, stores, trains ect.. I want to be able to gamble and to have stand offs with other players but instead it feels like the complete opposite. I've been playing online since Wednesday and whilst the initial first few hours felt refreshing it soon hit me that the in-game economy is worse than gta online's. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind a slight grind as it feels rewarding but this is a joke, In what world in the late 1800's would a horse cost you 40 gold bars. I hope rockstar fix this before it's too late.

I'm farming collectibles, about 350-500 bucks per hour if you plan your route right.
Best I’ve seen is the bison pelts mixed with perfect deer pelts and any birds you can find out by black water easy 40-50 each trip
You can pretty easily hit $140-$150 an hour roaming the prairie west of blackwater.
Quick tip to any of these gamers doing the fishing method out there
There’s a setting so you don’t have to reel you just have to hold a button
It’ll take a lot of stress of your thumb and controller

I quit playing forever ago however last night my son wanted to play so he downloaded it on his ps5 and I re-downloaded it and instead of playing a new character I got my old one... then lucky me first search I find the video that gave me so much money and now you have a sub and a share and a like... thank you

The best way I found for making money is just buying an elite bounty hunter liscence, you can redo legendary bounties about every 1-3 hours and they get you about 100-300 dollars based on the mission and how long it takes (the longer the mission the more money you get)
Well right now what i do is choose a bounty mission and then repeat the destroyed by grief mission and repeat that i usually get 24 plus the bounty mission i usually get 9 bucks so that a lot of cash
Best thing I found and so have others is to cheese the pig farm slight west of butcher in valentine. If you kill two 3 star pigs, you'll make around $15 in like 5 min. You put skins and 1 carcass on horse and you carry the other one. Pigs spawn fast.
Another tip: keep all your flight feathers to make improved arrows. Better for hunting.

probably one of the best ways I make money is I stack up my horse with either eastern wild turkeys or ducks, and then three deer pelt, and either elk skin or a buck carcass
I’ve tried all these methods and none of them are as efficient as just camping in the prairie area west of Blackwater and roaming across it. It has the highest concentration of big game, small game, birds, and the fewest obstructions in the entire game. You can make $140-$150 an hour.
Cougar Bodies sell for $8.10 I’m not to sure how much the pelt itself cost
They sell for $13.50 actually for a perfect carcass with the skin on it

If you pitch ur camp I tall trees and sit there until night you can hear animals and if you leave your horse but take a rifle and bow, there are chances of running into moose, bears, cougars, small ani.als like skunks and rabbits, and what seems to be out alot is deers and bucks. I do this everything but the goal is to be patient and quiet. If you have the trader role unlocked you can bring the wagon you'll just have to leave it at the road or somewhere nearby. The deers and bucks are easy to find in the woods to but it's easier for them to see you first

If u have a varmint rifle u can shoot the fish and they won’t usually be damaged
I noticed that you were kinda low Honour so next time you go fishing try releasing the fish it gives you a lot of honour pretty fast
Soooo true.. i don't have any of these tools to hunt with, i just started today, and i made on one day, almost $200.00 hunting alone. I used two horses for twice the impact. One time i found an abonded horse and used it for a total of 3 horses. Great video.
Another tip is using the lasso to catch and kill bucks, deers, elks, and boars as you are able to use the knife to instakill the animal without ruining the pelt, a good spot is above Strawberry and there are tons of animals!
There’s way better ways to get more health lol just go get into fist fights it’s a lot funner. As for making money just go hunt herons outside of st. Denis. You get a 1.50 for one feather from those bad boys and you can hold ten and there’s three different herons to hunt so you can essentially make 45$ dollars per run and it’s close to st denis. It’s way faster than any fishing method.

C4 Star I’ve played 13 hours in total and made 800$ already , depends on what you do and how persistent you are.

i found a good way to make money you just have to find a train with passengers and rob it it is hard to find one sometimes but you can get around 10 dollars per person

Yeah bruh, those fish was making me good money at the butcher today. If I dedicate about two or three hrs I can get some loot. I caught like 7 fish for $22.00... good video.
I did get one helpful hint from this video. The Lake Lure, I did not realize I could unlock it with a gold. :( I've been buying worms, and if you have not noticed, the info says, "A tin of 5 live worms" BullSh!t!!! It is .50 cents for 1 worm! There is also a bug when you buy 20/max, they will not show up in your bait wheel. (You can fix this if it happens by logging out, changing servers etc). One other note, I know this video mentions Steelhead trout, but Sockeye Salmon sell for the same amount. Lake North of Valentine has them, so does the Lake by the Veteran; although from there is a ride to a butcher. Valentine is close < 2min. However, time wise feathers of Heron, Spoonbills, and Pelicans are the fastest. I can make about 2-300 dollars per hour. Regardless, economy is horrible and I agree, there is not enough legit outlaw stuff to do. The griefing is also atrocious, needs passive mode so I can choose when to PVP. They will fix it or Ill just keep single player mode until something new comes along.
Yeah but if you die, get killed or change session all the furs and animal carcasses stored on your horse disappear. With out Passive Mode All hunting and farming it broken!

Hey if anybody is seeing this the story gives around 500 dollars and 3 gold if you do everything in it do that a few times yes it may be boring but you keep gold and cash only do this if you are willing to loose your rank horses ect. This is more profitable I think story takes 3 or 4 hours tho

If you want to speed up any skinning to get the optimal amount of cash in less time, simply park your horse over the carcass and you'll skin the animal in 1 sec

Heron feathers are worth 1.50 each as well
If you want good fish go to the owanji lake next to strawberry their called muski and your gonna need a special lake lure oh and their worth 7 or 8 bucks

It makes no sense to go after money and so after the the expensive guns which is the point of the game... because the auto aim makes headshots on a fullspeed horse so easy there is no reason to get the powerful guns. Except you youre playing for fancy clothes and horsies... i bought lichtfield and bolt action rifle. They arent more useful than the regular rifle and cattleman because the stats are of no use if auto aim delivers you more. Hope there will be a free aim mode. Otherwise i wont play this game for too long.
Drunken Pirate yes there is, the beginner weapons suck at aiming, it takes 3 seconds to fully aim and the damage is garbage whilst the ultimate edition players get guns what lock on quickly and are miles better

When I played story the first time when online wasn't around; I though to myself if the online mode comes out I'll make money by looting bodies. Why? because looting a body gives me 50C-2$. But I was in for a shock when online mode came out and I found out that looting a body gives you only 1C-10C lol

i try'd hunting and playing online like a nice guy, i loaded my horse up with like 20 dead animals. just to get shot in my head by some doucher. he also shot my thorough bread horse in the head, and because i didn't have 3 gold bars to pay for horse insurance i lost my very rare horse. i wish there was a passive mode.
Horse Insurance only removes the cost of vet fees when your horse dies, forcing the person that killed your horse to pay instead. You will never lose your horse. You might just have to retrieve it from the vet via stables option in your quick menu

If you're good at pvp you can make decent money and xp playing most wanted free for all. I'm level 50 and I got $65 for a 7 minute game and 850 xp on top of the players I killed.
Till this day i still play play this game dont care if its dont get updates its still a good game and always will be my best game

Ive just been going everywhere killing any animal I come across regardless of its value takes to point to hunt a specific high value animal in my opinion so other then killing only three star animals I’ve been killing ravens pronghorns killing them any way I can take the carcass and pelt and just selling it all don’t need the meat cause I have a lot of provisions so everything goes if I come across it
With the fishing you can use the bow or Vermin rifle to shoot the fish bow is better you can get the arrow back and I find it is easier to hit the fish
