Detroit will come after Love knowing he is not 100 percent and that's going to lead to Love turning the ball over. Malik will keep them honest. Start Malik and let Love get healthy...going to need him down the stretch.
When Malik throws he always seems to hit the receiver in stride. He runs well and that is so hard to defend. Not sure how he’d do if he has to throw 30 or 40 times, but with how he’s played so far, I wouldn’t mind seeing how that’d work out one way or the other. A healthy and mobile Jordan Love would be great, but he’s not right now. 20 days off would do his knee and groin good. I think all but one play after he tweaked it against the Jaguars they were in shotgun to protect him. That’s taking half the plays out of the book. I’d like to see Willis get the start, he deserves it for what he’s done so far, it gets Jordan 20 days rest, and it might just be the best chance to win the game if Love isn’t mobile and half the plays are out of the book to protect him.
Yes, sit Love. Doesn’t make sense if you question at all. No questions, put him in. Doubts… always trust that inner voice. Don’t go beating up your starter !
The slant to Doubs that you keep harping on Tom that Willis “couldn’t come off his first read” was designed as a quick pass. There isn’t time for a 2nd read on that play.
Willis was late on the slant to Doubs. That ball has to come out. Watch QB school & learn something. Willis isn’t close to the passer that Love is. But- if Love can’t go without risking injury- you can’t play him.
I'm amazed at how people are wanting Jordan to sit. Be careful what you wish for. Malik is not going to win us this game, sorry. I'm disappointed in you Leroy. You were his biggest fan all last year and a little bit of adversity & you're ready to crown Willis? smh

Leroy is right on this one. Nobody is stopping this running game with Malik at QB.

If J/ says he's o.k.-start him but if he shows tendencies, take him out.
Detroit will eat hobbling Jordan Love alive. I trust Malik's athletic ability. I vote for him to start.

Malik get his strength from people talkin down on him
