If I remember correctly raise the loader arms lock them into position then loosen two rear bolts by the rear window and just give it a tug it will raise up and lock in...
@@wildcatwilly I later discovered on another forum that it’s not so simple on the L100 series. According to the posted manual, it requires special equipment and tools, since the entire lifting assembly is attached to the cab, and must be jacked up. Once it drops over center, there must be something to keep it from falling. This is a serious safety hazard!
Hi Ive got the oppertunity to buy a LS170 with 700 odd hours on it but auction house says the bucket lift not working I guess it could have been just sitting for a long wile or they have no clue about foot pedals .. only $3500 . ( not in the USA)
Thanks for watching... That sounds like a pretty good deal I don't know what could be wrong. Could be as simple as a stuck solenoid. Or perhaps they didn't get the seat belt locked all the way in that is pretty common on that model I would go play with it for an hour and a half.
Fair dues to you that was the best explained demonstration I have seen from cork city
Thanks
Wow thanks for the video! Very helpful. These "older" machines are getting hard to find people who know them
You're very welcome. They are a very good reliable machine. They start well in bitter cold and seem to hold their resale value.
@@wildcatwilly ya I boght a 05 ls170 has 3800miles on it and so far has been a great machine.
Glad to hear it
I would like to see a video showing how to tilt up the cab on a New Holland L 180, or similar. Thanks for a great video.
It's really quite easy it seemed intimidating to me years ago but it's easy peasy

The L200 and later series are designed differently and lift easily as you describe.
Thanks for the insight it's been a minute since I've done it our C227 and C327 are a dream to tilt
Great informational video! Much appreciated!
Thanks for watching!
Nice Video!
Whats the button below the operating button?
If I remember correctly it is in auxiliary unlock so you can have hydraulic power without being inside the machine.
@@wildcatwilly thank you for your quick response 🤙🏼
