That depends upon amount of fluid (effusion) and cause of effusion.
Example.
Pus collection always needs drainage along with medicines.
Sir can we start Lasix to patients with pleural effusion or which drugs to be given to reduce pleural fluid apart from treatment of disease
Lasix can be given to patients only with transudative effusions.
For exudative effusions lasix won't have much impact on the effusion. Treat the underlying cause is the dictum.
Also moderate to severe effusions needs therapeutic drainage

Sawaal sahi nahi hai aapka.
Hum itna bata sakte hai ki kam se kam 6 months lena hota hai.
Jyada se jyada ki koi upper limit nahi de sakte kyuki sab kuch case to case vary karega.
Sir if patient ke lung me fluid TB ke jaaran hai to kya medicine se hi wo fluid thik ho sakta hai or fluid nikalna jarurii hai

Case to case depend karega ki fluid nikalna padega ki nahi.
Stable patient me jyada quantity pani nikalne ki need nahi hoti hai, lekin agar paani ki quantity jyada hai jiskk vajha se marij ko bahut saans ful raha hai to ho sakta hai paani nikalne ki jarurat pade.

Hi sir, i watched all the videos about TB.. I was infected with TB in 2018 then I had tablets for 6 months ana received the test results as negative ana doctors told in 2019, I'm perfectly alryt. All of sudden this week im getting cough twice a day, slight left chest pain and loss of appetite for past 2 days.. I'm worried is there a way the TB might arrive again ?? How to cure this completely

Mje 2019 me pleural effusion ka issue hua tha right lung me TB ka test negative tha. Or needle k zariye lungs se fluid nikala tha or phr b Mje 8 months Tb ki medicine khani prhi the
Lekin me 2019 to 2022 mje still right lung me pain hota hy breathing k time or ab to left me b start ho gya hy Dr Kehty ha k swelling hui hoge normal hy but ma bht takleef me hu

Sir aapke najdik kisi Chest Specialist ko dikhaiye aur unki opinion lijiye.
Jyadatar cases me aise pain(dard) rahna nahi chahye. Aur agar dard ho raha hai to ho sakta hai ki jahan paani bharta hai un layers me sikudan (Pleural thickening) ho jiski vajah se pain ho raha hai.
Aur left side pain kyu hai ye to tests me hi pata lag sakta hai.
Aapke najdik chest specialist se dikhaiye.

After i gave my x-ray, it found out that i had a scar, and then I gave my sputum test, and in the third week, I tested positive! But I have no medical history of TB, and still, after my sputum test turns out to be positive, I have no symptoms whatsoever.
Is it contagious or transmissible? I am so worried that my VISA to Australia will be pending.

Sir , if patient have pleural effusion and we want to diagnose those . Then does it necessary to know all parameters about fluid in lab . I mean if exudate then how can we further investigate next step
This is patient to patient dependent.
Depends on history & suspected diagnosis
And then we send tests on fluid accordingly!!!

Sir wife ko pleural tb hua tha 5 month pehle or lungs ki side me pani nikla tha bhut abhi medicine chal rahi h TB ki. kon sa test karwaye jis se ki pata chal sake ki abhi TB thik hua ya nhi. Plz reply
Chest xray & ultrasound chest are usually sufficient. At times Cect chest can be done
