Great playing , incredible actually. You must love Queensryche as much as me. Nailed the tone and your transitions are so smooth ( I’m envious) . Thank you.
Awesome! I can't stand it when I'm trying to learn a song from incorrect tab etc and this is spot on! Well done! I wish I had this transposoing ability
Great job! I'm attempting to cover the entire album as well in hopes of forming a tribute band. I've been watching your videos for a while and you are doing an excellent job! ! please keep going. it's helping me a lot.
Back here again on 3/18/2020 Commenting on how awesome your cover is... Who ever the 5 haters are I hope Covin19 visits their doorstep (obviously kidding)... But in times like these it comforting to know you can enjoy great OLD SCHOOL METAL COVERS LIKE YOURS... Thank you...
That sustain at the end with the whammy was awesome man. Every video Ive seen from you is killer Ive always loved how DeGarmo and Wilton layered the chords to make that fat wall of sound.
Really digging the cover \m/ You my friend have excellent timing and technique. Your tone matches up very well with the band too! What kind of setup are you using for this?
Hi Alex! Great job and thank you very much for sharing this with us. I’m looking into getting a new guitar and your play has inspired me to looking into the one you use in this video. Can you please tell me about it? Thank you
Alec, Your Work is SOOO APPRECIATED!!! There isn't a musician in Tucson that i have not shared your videos with. the work is very tight, love the rhythm inset. BTW, Whats a Tab? Isnt that a soft drink back in the 70's?
hey this is awesome! I have a question. At 1:56, you play E-A chord then E-G# chord, but you play it at two different parts of the neck on the two guitars... is this how it is played on record? how did you figure this out?
Thanks man! It's been a while since I sat with this and properly analysed it but I remember on one of the guitar tracks (left or right) I could hear a glissando after the chord going back down the neck - so imagine on the other part I didn't hear that, or I just forgot and played it down on the 2nd fret haha! But yeah I know for fact that there was some sort of slide down off the chord on at least one of the parts
Do you have any suggestions for a budget amp and pedal combo to get a Queensryche style sound. I'm currently using a Fender with Hot rails and a Epiphone Les Paul Traditional Pro.
ya ever happen to notice that Steel Panther never covers any Queensryche? That would require Lexxi Foxx learning the other two bass strings...the top two are the sexiest.
Luis Rodriguez Thanks for the compliment! Using my Axe Fx - Friedman HBE model, gain around 3, with a ML Soundlabs IR of a Marshall 4x12, with a low and high pass in the cab block - the IR is the key!! It can make or break your tone!
Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately, I cannot afford an Axe FX but I will definitely follow your advice for the IR. Thanks man and keep posting videos :D
The solo blazed ! The timing, perfect
Great playing , incredible actually. You must love Queensryche as much as me. Nailed the tone and your transitions are so smooth ( I’m envious) . Thank you.

Nigel T. would be proud of your tremolo work at 4:17! But really, your work nailed this.
I've seen a lot of players try to play that tune and some come close. But, this is dead balls spot on note for note. Great job!
"Dead balls spot on" hahaha! Love it! Thanks so much for watching and the fantastic comment, really made my day!
Glad you enjoyed it. I got that one from Toby Keith's road manager many, many moons ago. ;-)

Очень круто, мужик! Самый любимый трек у Queensryche

Great covers!
What is your bridge pickup of choice when playing Queensryche?
Vintage output, med, output or high output?
ya ever happen to notice that Steel Panther never covers any Queensryche? That would require Lexxi Foxx learning the other two bass strings...the top two are the sexiest.
Great tone...Friedman patch?
Dude how do you get that tone?! It sounds mad! Great playing by the way!
Thanks so much! I created it using my Axe Fx 2 :) Thanks for watching!
❤️🎉
Dude... how did you obtain this perfect tone?? I've been trying to come close on Amplitube and BIAS FX but to no avail. Please share your secret!
