This is one of Celine's beloved French songs. Her voice hits different in French! One of a kind vocalist! 360 degree stadium!!! Power vocals and agility!
Hello guys! Céline Dion is a Québécoise ( Quebecer in english if you prefer). She is francophone, native at Charlemagne, a little city in the vicinity of Montréal, Québec. Québec is a state of 9 millions people in Canada. 83 % of Québec people are francophone.
I was waiting for this. I really love your reactions to Celine's. This has an English version entitled If That What It Takes. Thank you for this. More power!
Thank u so much! Mike and Celine was good friends. Celine was inspired by him, and after years, he goes to Las Vegas to see she performs. One of the most special moments for Celine. Please react more of Celine. ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Love your reactions! And your singing along!! :) Hope you react to Celine S'il Suffisait D'Aimer Live In Montreal 2008, and Priere Paienne LIve A Paris 1995!! Couple of my favourites. And yes her first language is French. She was born in Charlemagne, just outside Montreal!
yes botched french 😂 i am french i often have very hard time to understand what she is singing, for us Quebec accent is the most uggly in french (sorry for that) we still stay cousins
@@rhdrhd3255 I get what you’re saying I live in Quebec and often enough I have difficulty understanding the native speakers, it shows you how the language has evolved from France to Quebec and Haiti (as French is also my native language). BUT I absolutely LOVE Celine Dion’s french Discography; her album “D’eux” is a MASTERPIECE. You gotta listen to “Vole”. I don’t have a hard time understanding her when she sings in French. She was an institution back in Haiti before I left. As are Francis Cabrel, Charles Aznavour, Michel Sardou, Claude Barzotti, Mylène Farmer, Enrico Masias and Patrick Bruel. (Sorry I don’t know of any new French artists aside from Maître Gim, simply not my style nowadays) 😉

The fun fact about Celine as far as MJ goes: he was certainly one of the most influential artists in her life. From earliest interviews to her most recent ones, he’s one of the singers she still mentions the most as an influence, and it usually shows in her whole body language when she performs.
For me, this is Celine Dion's best song for melody and vocal subtlety! Ok this is her native language and she is more natural to her so that helps. I advise you the dominant artist in France for over 37 years who is Mylène Farmer and that neither Celine Dion or Lara Fabian have ever managed to dislodge there. You who compare to MJ, with her you can because her fans are as absolute as MJ's were and her starters and her endings are possibly the most spectacular. I think you've never seen anything like it. ). Example: intro of the 2006 show ---> ua-cam.com/video/IezLsk1II9Q/v-deo.html : intro of the 1999 show (voted best live show of the entire 20th century in Russia) ---> ua-cam.com/video/A5-kbvmih4Y/v-deo.html Imagine that its 2019 entry is even superior and exceeds anything you imagine ...
Oh you guys are awesome! You are really funny, your reactions are adorable. I really love your channel. Plus I want to congrats you, cause you are I think the ONLY one in the whole english/anglophone speaking world that are saying her name the good way! I'm also french-canadian and it bugs me all the time. Its not Dionne its Dion. And you guys are saying the french-canadian aka the Quebecer way! 👍Bravo. And yes of course it's French, Italian is sounding a bit like french but its different. The endings are not the same. In french we use more of "e" in our words. In Italian more "i" and in spanish its more the "o" that is used. Its a little trick I use when I want to know in which languages it is said.
Actually Celine has recorded or sang in 9 different languages witch is absolutely mind blowing not withney not Mariah not Beyoncé has done not even the third of what she has sang in different languages here’s the video that prouves my point ua-cam.com/video/9ImrFSKICFc/v-deo.html
