This music is great for two reasons. 1. The added sound effects were there at the precise moments. 2. This Megalovania remix is especially good because it does not follow the traditional format of megalovania remixes.

this makes me think of undyne, sans, and asgore, fighting the human together. for example, you are travelling through waterfall. you don't run into undyne or any other monsters that would be there. so, you continue on, still no sign of anybody, all through the core and hotland. and then, you run into sans at judgement hall. he judges you, but this time he adds one line: "oh, kid, by the way... i brought back up this time." after sans says that, asgore and undyne both approach from where the camera doesn't reach. the shadows are in the shape of undyne and asgore. BATTLE START
oh, and sans' burning in hell line changes a bit. "it's a beautiful day outside. birds are singing, flowers are blooming... on days like this, monsters like us, should be living in peace." it goes like that then the battle starts

Sans riding a Gaster Blaster honestly makes this more badass. If there was ever a movie, this would definitely be one of the candidates for a genocide route version. Okay, so I'm gonna give my honest critique on this remix. I'm a hard core veteran of the game, so I'm very hard to please, but I liked it. Did it give me chills? No, and honestly I think it should at least once to have a real impact. It got a little to synthy and uninteresting in a few places. I like that you tried to use the original Undertale version in it, but it kind of lessened the oomph. Not to say that it's a bad idea, I've seen it pulled off, but it just didn't have enough impact. I loved what you did with the music box, it was a great touch. I loved the fade in to the final part with the music box going in the background. I think you had a strong ending. I'd rate this a 6/10. Maybe, I'm just hard to please because I've heard this song thousands of times, in hundreds upon hundreds of different iterations and in many different genres. I still commend you because I have respect for anyone who can do anything musically, especially when they put their work out in the public. The reaction seems very positive so far and you deserve it for all the work you put in. Good job. Edit: Woops, forgot to mention. That first part where you started your major build up about a minute and a half in was great. I love how it had a nice, consise and clean switch and repeat of certain notes within megalovania's main loop. It was definitely one of my favorite parts of the remix.

I would have liked to see the middle rearranged slightly due to it feeling unnatural in some places. I think it was a good example of using the original sound font in a new style, despite its weaker midsection, not so say this one's was bad, I just preferred the execution of usage in that one.

I could imagine just what sans would have a theme like this. The sans sounds at the start would be him laughing with black eyes, then the blasters would just be him filling the battle box with blasts, forcing the player to 1hp with a permanent karma effect, then sans would say his badass "burning in hell" line before unloading an onslaught of attacks, forcing the player to literally do a no hit run against him. That'd be fucking terrifying

An mix of anxiety and madness
Okay, so I'm gonna give my honest critique on this remix. I'm a hard core veteran of the game, so I'm very hard to please, but I liked it. Did it give me chills? No, and honestly I think it should at least once to have a real impact. It got a little to synthy and uninteresting in a few places. I like that you tried to use the original Undertale version in it, but it kind of lessened the oomph. Not to say that it's a bad idea, I've seen it pulled off, but it just didn't have enough impact. I loved what you did with the music box, it was a great touch. I loved the fade in to the final part with the music box going in the background. I think you had a strong ending. I'd rate this a 6/10. Maybe, I'm just hard to please because I've heard this song thousands of times, in hundreds upon hundreds of different iterations and in many different genres. I still commend you because I have respect for anyone who can do anything musically, especially when they put their work out in the public. The reaction seems very positive so far and you deserve it for all the work you put in. Good job.
Edit: Woops, forgot to mention. That first part where you started your major build up about a minute and a half in was great. I love how it had a nice, consise and clean switch and repeat of certain notes within megalovania's main loop. It was definitely one of my favorite parts of the remix.
I don't blame you, half the reason I was hesitant about finishing this was it's been done a billion times in a billion genres already. But I do love me a constructive critique, thanks for your input. c:

LeGamerDuSud 581 I liked it. It had some parts in the middle I didn't like, but it had a strong start and ending. I would have liked to see the middle rearranged slightly due to it feeling unnatural in some places. I think it was a good example of using the original sound font in a new style, despite its weaker midsection, not so say this one's was bad, I just preferred the execution of usage in that one.

I could imagine just what sans would have a theme like this. The sans sounds at the start would be him laughing with black eyes, then the blasters would just be him filling the battle box with blasts, forcing the player to 1hp with a permanent karma effect, then sans would say his badass "burning in hell" line before unloading an onslaught of attacks, forcing the player to literally do a no hit run against him. That'd be fucking terrifying
