You’re the ONLY person I have seen that noticed the intro being a domino table 🤯 thats such a good catch! From my own analysis, and I’m not a dancer but ive admired dance for a long time & kind of understand terminologies & what to pick up on in choreos, throughout the Sorikkun music video there was a constant blend of modern culture w/ the traditional Korean concept, & w/ Domino being the bside that follows immediately after, talking about them being trendsetters, I noticed there were call backs in this choreo from Sorikkun. For example the triple high kick part at the beginning, they were using Taekwondo fighting techniques & imitating the process of wood breaking. Meanwhile in Sorikkun the choreography during the chorus are Taekkyeon techniques, which is a traditional korean martial art from the Joseon dynasty. Also I noticed them using popular dance moves like the Woo Walk adds to the “trendsetter” concept that the lyrics are going for which is the other “call back” to the Sorikkun choreo, again going back and forth with the modern vs traditional concepts. This entire song & choreography is just so cool. I love it, and I absolutely LOVED your analysis! Thank you so much!
