Glad to see you got Zombies ate my neighbors but man oh man that dudes prices were out of control high on everything. Then to not even budge despite the big purchase you made last time? That's kinda lame of him considering the condition of the cart :\
+AlphaOmegaSin He had, arguably, the best stuff at the entire swap meet/convention and he knew it. His prices reflected that. Honestly, the guy is super nice so I struggle to get to mad at him for having high prices, I just don't usually look twice at his stuff. This Zombies game though, I don't know man, it's freaking bad ass. The game is a surviver. If I didn't end up getting it, I would have regretted it. I want to make our episode next, for the Connecticut road trip. I need to hit you up for interview footage in the next few days. That episode is going to be huge.
The first time you came to America is how I found your channel watching it on metaljesusrocks channel. I'm glad I found it though your channel has become one of my favourites. I really like the older episodes when you were still in Australia though because it shows how the gaming scene is there.
Great episode! Gotta be a ton of work shooting and editing all of this. Love seeing footage from conventions and swap meets. Glad you got the Zombies Ate My Neighbors! Cool to see coe33 from The Game Hunters.
Wood, You Derek n Metal Jesus = Pure Awesomeness \ m /. Excellent video loved every minute of it. That footage from 2 years ago, made me realize I've been watching your channel for a long time. I am damn Proud to call you my friend. Hope you have an Amazing weekend n also things keep looking up for you. :) \ m /
+The Game Hunters Hey!! I couldn't remember your channel name for the life of me! I'm sorry guys! I just added your channel to the description of this video! I hope you had a great time at the Swap Meet!
+BeatEmUps No worries at all. Thanks for adding our channel link to the description! We had a great time at the Swap Meet...That 32x has been getting a lot of use. :)
One of my favorite episodes! I wish I got a chance to meet you at the retroworldexpo in CT Wood! That was my 1st and only expo. Seeing you collaborate with metaljesus and superderek was cool!
Metal Jesus doesn't know who Ric Flair is? You lost some street cred today, my friend. Diamonds are forever, and so is Ric Flair. WOOOOOOOOOO! Beautiful scenery at the endf this video.
that game should have been at least 20 from the start. the game isn't worth much more than the 30 he was asking and it was melted to shit lol he should have just taken the 20
+gillythekid It was priced higher, due to it's condition. It's strange, it's like... damaged. So it should be cheaper... right? But at the same time, it's badass. It survived a house fire. When people paint old N64 consoles they ask twice the price and people buy it to have the art. This was like... Unintentional art. I can totally see how people would see it as trash hahaha. After I got home I had a moment where I was like... why did I buy this? But I'm glad I did.
Man, so many great folks in this video! I live on the eastside of the Seattle area, and I am flat-out ASHAMED to admit I've never gone in to Al's music and video games before. It is _well_ beyond the time for me to get out of my freaking hobbit-hole and visit some of these places in my own town.
Just realized that the background on the game quest logo was moving. Glad to see that you were able to get a game that you wanted; however, i think he should of given you a better deal because of it's condition.
Great upload Wood! Nice to see that end clips too, that part where the mountain is did look a really nice spot to visit and relax for a while. Agreed that the burnt cart suited that particular game to a tee, I'd have purchased that all day long. Interested to know how you got on with those NES and SNES consoles at that ridiculous price, if any worked still. Reggie showed one of my favourite rail shooters there, I picked that up back in the day on the cover alone and hadn't heard of it, I got home and absolutely loved it, Vampire Night, a great game i wish had a follow up as I finished it in one sitting in about half hour it was that short, but still a great fun game albeit easy
15:55 YESS!!! The Game Hunters make an appearance! Hello coe33! Bravely Default is a great game, but I totally agree, the last part of the game is quite repetitive. Love seeing the old footage of your first experiences in the Seattle area! I think you've settled down there quite well :)
Super Metroid, Earthbound, a LTTP? That's all you need in a SNES collection. But Zombies is a perfect addition. They should have released the carts to look like that lol - that day of the tentacle is GLORIOUS. Love those big box games, especially lucas arts
Its kinda sad he would not take ten less for a game you could clearly see Beatemups wanted it. That guy was kind of a dick about it. Guess he needed that extra 10 for cheeseburgers or something.
+DubiousGamingOnline It's great! It's a lot of the same vendors of the Portland Retro Gaming Expo. Always deals to be had. The dude who wouldn't sell Zombies for less than $25, I grabbed a huge stack of Japanese TG16 HuCards for $40 (easily worth $100)
Another great video man! That swap meet looked like it was great fun and you got an amazing deal on all of those NES and SNES consoles. However, the price on that Zombies cart (given the condition) was far too high; I understand that the vendors have to make a profit on items sold but he was asking way too much for that fire damaged cart, despite how cool it looked. Looking at PAL region Zombies carts, the prices appear to be more reasonable than the NTSC ones, but hey... happy gaming!
Also, the segment at the end on your blossoming bromance with Metal Jesus was hilarious! I will add to your sentiments though... the US has some very beautiful places and, with it being so large, there are a lot of diverse places to explore. I plan on doing a 'coast to coast' drive in a year or two there because of it.
Great episode. When I saw that Hori GC controller with the $100 price tag I almost cried. I had one of those and I know I didn't sell it for anywhere near $100. CRAP. I really need to head to the West coast (Cali and Washington specifically), lots to see.
I wish Wisconsin had taco time........I never heard about it until this very moment. Taco Bell bean burritos are hard to beat though, IMO. Idk why, but they are my favorite, especially after a night of drinking.
been meaning to watch this finally got around to it lol better late than never I guess and holy shit quality of Game Quest is starting to look fancier than Game Chasers
32x is 80 dollars now?! I sold mine for 5 like 16yrs ago. Thing was trash, but I got it for 5 dollars with star wars arcade anyway. UA-cam is really driving up the prices on games >
I dono if i could pay $30 for a burnt game. In that condition i'd have to be like Evo or something i REALLY want / need for that price. Zombies Ate My Neighbors is only okay... Its pretty good with 2 players but the game is still pretty rough i always thought. I had friends really into it as a kid but i just didn't see the appeal.
Great episode Wood! There are a lot of sexy UA-camrs in this episode ;)
You like games and comics but not wrestling? Wrestling is comics come to life, good vs evil who will win.
You and Wood being the main attractions.
You Rock Metal Jesus hope to meet you and the crew one day after this whole covid situation dies down until than stay safe
That Silverchair guitar riff is one of my favorite to play. Australia for the win \m/
+MetalJesusRocks I really enjoyed that bit! :) Such a sick song!
Even if the guitar was a little out of tune. You still need to give me lessons
Always a good time at the PRGE Swap Meet! I had fun hanging out with you.

Glad to see you got Zombies ate my neighbors but man oh man that dudes prices were out of control high on everything. Then to not even budge despite the big purchase you made last time? That's kinda lame of him considering the condition of the cart :\

+AlphaOmegaSin i was like wtf are those prices :D
+BeatEmUps He should have seen the passion you had, and just hooked you up before other took notice. Its just a friendly thing to do for someone.
imo this is one of the best beat em ups yet I like the way everything was edited and set up good job wood keep it up
The first time you came to America is how I found your channel watching it on metaljesusrocks channel. I'm glad I found it though your channel has become one of my favourites. I really like the older episodes when you were still in Australia though because it shows how the gaming scene is there.
Lost count of how many times that girl that worked at that store said " *Like* "
+RetroR0bbie like i'd paperbag that bitch
Great episode! Gotta be a ton of work shooting and editing all of this. Love seeing footage from conventions and swap meets. Glad you got the Zombies Ate My Neighbors! Cool to see coe33 from The Game Hunters.
Really great video man! Was happy to be a part of it. :)

Great episode Wood! It's always cool running into you at these events. Nice footage from Mt. Erie at the end.
Was awesome seeing you in this episode coe33!
Thanks! It's very cool to be in one of my favorite UA-cam shows.
That's just the way the dingo runs! I laughed so hard at that. lol
One of my favorite episodes! I wish I got a chance to meet you at the retroworldexpo in CT Wood! That was my 1st and only expo. Seeing you collaborate with metaljesus and superderek was cool!

#BeautifulTacoFootage needs to start trending on social media

hey if u guys are looking for a Day of the Tentacle I got one sealed and for sale massage me if interested.
+MetalJesusRocks Loved that guitar work at the end, Maybe you should use that for your intro?.
Metal Jesus doesn't know who Ric Flair is? You lost some street cred today, my friend. Diamonds are forever, and so is Ric Flair. WOOOOOOOOOO! Beautiful scenery at the endf this video.

***** if it had really gotten as much attention as they were claiming, someone would have bought it for the 30 lmao
+BeatEmUps don't worry hilly is a fucking idiot.
Terrell Sparvier you couldn't even spell my name right.
+gillythekid I was talking about hilly
Came for Derek, stayed for the clean up.
I love how Metal Jesus Rocks played Silverchair for Wood!
Yes!! Been waiting for this episode to come out for ages. Awesome episode guys.
Woods sending all those people to haggle for Zombies are my neighbors was hysterical lol
favourite part
Man, so many great folks in this video! I live on the eastside of the Seattle area, and I am flat-out ASHAMED to admit I've never gone in to Al's music and video games before. It is _well_ beyond the time for me to get out of my freaking hobbit-hole and visit some of these places in my own town.
That Sam guy, that man seems like a gem. Really cool moment to see Wood. :)
Nespursuit and gamequest in 1 day = best day.
Just realized that the background on the game quest logo was moving. Glad to see that you were able to get a game that you wanted; however, i think he should of given you a better deal because of it's condition.
Lovely episode (read chapter) and top notch editing!
Ooooh Yeah! New Game Quest episodes always make me happy!
That Zombies cart despite its condition really did look badass but not $30 badass. Good episode brother, good work as always. :D
+Arcade Regiment thanks Phil :)
Great upload Wood!

I kinda loved this video... Like a lot. :) You're both such awesome dudes, and I hope to meet you both someday.
Super Metroid, Earthbound, a LTTP? That's all you need in a SNES collection. But Zombies is a perfect addition. They should have released the carts to look like that lol - that day of the tentacle is GLORIOUS. Love those big box games, especially lucas arts
That Zombies cart had class. Nice pickup
Its kinda sad he would not take ten less for a game you could clearly see Beatemups wanted it. That guy was kind of a dick about it. Guess he needed that extra 10 for cheeseburgers or something.

Man that Portland swap meat looks rad. I didn't realize it was as big as it is. I figured it would be a lot smaller.

Yeah, Dude! I love Silverchair
just FYI to the guy who uploaded this you have hungry like a wolf playing in the background and it might get you in trouble with copyrights issues.
They need to release the old LucasArt point and click adventures on the 3DS and Vita. It's the perfect platforms for them.
Cool to see COE33 in the video, I love the Game hunters.

I hope that Game On Expo is like this
now that is what i call a bromance...haha... nah man, cool video
Mmmmmm TACO TIME 🤘🏽💯
you could get trade value of around 20-30 for them in a retail show. that's why you buy cheap consoles.
Metal Jesus Speeds! I know your married, but can't you get lost in Beat's eyes?
Too Many Hot Men To Handle hahaha
32x is 80 dollars now?! I sold mine for 5 like 16yrs ago. Thing was trash, but I got it for 5 dollars with star wars arcade anyway. UA-cam is really driving up the prices on games >
+Hijynx87 Well, boxed. But yeah its not cheap in general
