- hi guys! i hope you enjoy this video, it was a pretty big investment but it was a lot of fun! 8-)
over the span of the week i spent making this video i realized something. i realized that making videos (minimally animated like this one or otherwise) truly is my passion. despite how short this project was, it was quite the journey for me and i hope to continue this journey and… making videos! hehe

this is AMAZING!!! the art style is so fun and bouncy and perfectly suits the MSPaint Adventures simplicity while adding a lot of personality and diversity with expressions, clothes, and body shapes. and the charlie brown style dancing/exaggerated lip syncing is also so cute and great!!! this made me love homestuck all over again, with a new appreciation and a hyped up sense of nostalgia. god bless ya for making "this feels like i'm in 2013" be a good feeling :o)

This is the one video to actually make me sit through this song in its entirety and enjoy it. Previously whenever I listened to this song all I thought of was those slideshows of stolen shipping art, usually titled "character x character AMV" or something along those lines, since that song was fairly common for them as far as I could tell. I used to watch a bunch when I was new to fandoms (like 8-12 thereabouts) and I always clicked away from the video when it played the song because a) it seemed like the kind of song that gets stuck in your head super quick and b) it sounded like one of those songs that remix a cute kiddie song into a scary grownup song. Now though, thanks to your video, I've sat through the whole song, and I actually enjoyed it a lot (of course, the cute visuals helped a lot as well), so thank you. :)
I've heard this song thrice, all in the worst years of my life, twice in JoJo shit videos, once in an animation meme video where someone was messing around with a puppet rig and singing "i wanna die", so this song is like irreversibly fucked for me because I associate it with the trash I watched as a kid. I kinda wanna make an Emurui animation with it now though. It's got Emu vibes to it.
