A couple of fun facts - Nicholas Andrew Louie voiced Sonic here and he also played Madara in Madara Vs Aizen. I told you he was good - This was the first time they used specific versions of characters in this case Archie's version of Sonic - Archie Sonic was originally going to win before they found out something about Wally that gave him the win I don't remember what
Not quite! Johnny Cage VS Captain Falcon uses Suzaku Ryu, the character from the anime, as its primary Captain Falcon source, with all feats and analysis coming from the anime. The original material (the games) are just used as background visuals. This was, however, the first episode that was _advertised_ as using alternative canons.
@demonarcher1661 Which is still wrong to this day. I still think Wally wins against Archie Sonic in other ways, but Wally never outran death. In that comic, he led that Speedster death to the corner of the universe, where concepts stop existing. He only did that because he knew that he couldn't outrun him. He didn't outrun death, he outsmarted/outwitted death
something you likely missed and they really could have explained better, the flash's family acts as a lightning rod, keeping them moored in reality. unmooring makes them faster, but this also means that flash has the power to anchor himself to reality at will, ignoring the influence of powerful beings capable of effortlessly rewriting multiverses, like dr manhattan.... or archie ultra sonic.
Sonthey have done 2 Sonic vs Mario deathbattles one that is composite Sonic (including Archie) and composite Mario and then they did one that is just the game versions both are worth checking out if you want more speedster fun
yeah not all the last few Sonic games have been the best but Sonic Frontiers is known to be amazing to a lot of fans and I am also exited for the 3rd Sonic Movie by the trailer alone it looks like they are doing some things differently but its a movie version of Sonic the first 2 had similarities to the games but they don't need to be full on recreations of the games in movie motion Shadow is my favorite Sonic character because he is just so cool he is cool looking he gets the job done doesn't mess around and they have Keanu Reeves voicing Shadow which is so good the other choice they had was Hayden Christensen a lot of people thought it was gonna be Hayden Christensen voicing shadow he is also Anakin in Star Wars Episode 3 Revenge of the Sith if you didn't know.
@@whalepingThat’s because Archie Sonics is primarily by one writer. DC and Marvel are multiple and while that does allow a lot of creativity it causes the universe to get messy so they have to reboot it a lot. Mainly DC.
@@whaleping still a lot less than DC or Marvel and that allows it to be more consistent. Try and write a massive universe yourself with multiple writers, it will be difficult.
Will you still be reacting to RvB? Just wondering because I was curious to see your thoughts on 15-19, I personally think they’re worth a watch (except for 18 that legitimately sucks)
Yes I am, I was just taking a small break from it! I will be back to them though, I’ve gotten so far through it so I’ll definitely finish. Sorry it’s taken so long!
I can't understand Death Battle. In the past I liked them but now I hate them. When they was ScrewAttack they usually makes fights with logic. But now they seem like DC's lapdog. A lot of battles makes no sense.
DC's first loss to a non-Marvel character was in the modern era. Marvel's most amount of times taking the lead over DC was in the modern era. The only way they could be considered "DC's lapdogs" is because they actually do accurate research on comic book characters now.
I know it can be hard when your favorite character loses or when you get a result that you don't agree with, but you can only really enjoy Death Battle if you accept it in good faith. The team has been very vocal in the past about doing their best to remain unbiased, and I think it shows in their methodology. Each battle has a team of 8 researchers read, watch, and play through all material involving both characters, and then they debate it out until they come to a unanimous conclusion. In order for it to be unfair or rigged, everybody on the research team would need to be in on it, and that just isn't very likely. If there was foul play going on, somebody would have leaked the information by now. Instead of worrying about that sort of thing, it's honestly better to just remember that most powerscaling is subjective. Different people will have different standards for what counts as proof for a character's stats and abilities because the characters themselves don't really exist, which can lead to inconsistent interpretations, relying on the viewer's perspective. It's okay to have a different opinion then Death Battle when it comes to a character's powers or a battle's outcome, but hating them for it is fruitless. It will only ruin your experience in the end. They claim that they are making a good faith effort to resolve these match ups, so take it as their honest opinion.
The next Death Battle you should react to is Bill Cypher vs Discord

@skyknight2233 for number 3 it was the outrunning death
They found that last minute that made it so Wally was able to match AS fate manipulation

Not really sure what to say about this episode in particular. I just think it’s neat.
Oh deary me, I’ve run out of seasons to highlight, uh…
Oh no 👀😂
Can you do Death Battle Winter Soldier VS Red Hood?
Yeah sure 🔥
Flash speed-blitzes Sonic!

Yeah Archie Sonic is a bit all over the place
Reading all of Archie is more consistent than reading all of DC or Marvel tho

Ah yes, such logic as “This is what Guts does EVERY DAY.” And let’s not forget “Toph can feel the earth EVEN IF IT’S DISCONNECTED FROM THE GROUND.”
??? DC has lost plenty of times and death battles old research was nowhere near as good as there modern research

Ah yes, DC Lapdogs. That's why DC still loses episodes even as of last season.
