Great to see the hard work going in pre season. Also good to see the team gelling socially and enjoying each other’s company, but what about the REALLY tough stuff? The moments of REAL personal and emotional challenge? Not just the guys smiling away as they hit a hard gym session, but the tough conversations and moments when players aren’t just smiling at each other and the camera? That would show us what the real substance and identity of Edinburgh rugby is all about, and would demonstrate this club might be going places.
