A nice idea but impractical for most DYIers. How do you get to step 1 with the U shaped base plate? How do you bend the 1/8" aluminum plate with out a heavy duty sheet metal brake? I am an experienced DYIer and I don't know how to do that with any simple tools you might find in a home shop. A better solution is the VILTROX L116T bi-color, 95+ CRI led panel light. Less than US $40 including shipping. Dimmable can be powered with a NP-F battery like the F550. BTW, you could replace the heliarc welded handle with a cheap mini-tripod.
