Transporter-3 Mission

- On Thursday, January 13 at 10:25 a.m. EST, Falcon 9 launched Transporter-3, SpaceX’s third dedicated SmallSat Rideshare Program mission, from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. This was the tenth launch and landing of this Falcon 9 stage booster, which previously supported launch of Crew Demo-2, ANASIS-II, CRS-21, Transporter-1, and five Starlink missions. Following stage separation, SpaceX landed Falcon 9’s first stage on Landing Zone 1 (LZ-1) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
On board this launch were 105 commercial and government spacecraft (including CubeSats, microsats, PocketQubes, and orbital transfer vehicles). - Наука та технологія
I will never, EVER get tired of seeing the first stage booster land. It amazes me each and every time like it's the first time ever seeing it!
ua-cam.com/video/2QS9Jto2YhM/v-deo.html
Neither will I. They are amazing. Congratulations SpaceX and Elon Musk for another flawless flight!
I'm with you. It's still hard to believe that SpaceX pulled it off in my lifetime and they're already up to 100 successful landings. You have to give props to NASA for their decades of achievement but the mindset at SpaceX is next level. "Hey, we were gonna lose the rocket anyway...let's try to land it and learn something new." There's a video out there showing all the failed landing attempts. Something like 19 failed landings before sticking the landing. They've only been in existence since 2002.
The coverage also seems to get better and better. I cannot imagine what is is going to be like when the first Starship orbital flight is attempted in March.
I'm excited like a child for when we get Starship doing the same routine on a regular basis. Can you imagine?
22:50 Yes, no interruption on either side of split screen. One of the best landing/touchdown ever...btw that sonic boom though.😍
thanks, while I'd love to watch the whole thing only so much time in the day. you just helped me get to the meat.
Because it is not on droneship
@@rinato7757 I wish they could do something to improve the video streaming on the drone ship. You know that the support ship is there watching from within the horizon. Why not have the droneship bounce it's streaming through the supporting ship(s) around it instead of trying to keep a dish aimed at some satellite. Then the support ships (re)upload that stream through satellite comm(since THEY aren't shaking/quaking/baking like the droneship - hopefully!).
ua-cam.com/video/2QS9Jto2YhM/v-deo.html
@@rmkenney Would be nice if they could use a drone with Starlink internet connection to maintain high quality coverage of landings on droneships. But probably not possible for some reasons.
never never gets old its like watching a movie! I think thats the first time I saw the 1st stage flip to come back its nuts!
Блин, каждый запуск Falcon 9 смотрю в прямом эфире, но когда пошла эта трансляция, был немного занят, не смотрел. Но знал бы, что там наш Січ-2, бросил бы все и смотрел
I always love it when they can do an RTLS because there is never any question of picture quality of the landing. Tenth landing for this booster, 102nd landing overall, SpaceX sets some kind of record with every flight. Somebody needs to do something to start trying to compete.
RTLS also means you often get that shot from the ground of stage separation and the booster turning around.
ua-cam.com/video/2QS9Jto2YhM/v-deo.html
Blue Origin is working on it with their New Glenn rocket. Rocket Lab is also working on recovering a booster with a parachute and helicopter snatch.
what's RTLS?
@@Dark_side9999 Return To Launch Site. Where the booster lands on land instead of on a drone ship.
10 launches and landings on a single rocket is simply amazing. Great job to team SpaceX !
The whole landing sequence - especially the view of the booster from the ground - is amazing!
way better than interrupted signal from drone ships🙂

never get tired of a Kate Tice broadcast... :)
Really great to see they use their own employees to present these webcasts and it amazes me how well they do this every time while it not being their daily tasks 👍👍
Each giving their own details of their area of expertise, learning a little more each time😋
ua-cam.com/video/2QS9Jto2YhM/v-deo.html
What always strikes me is the comparison between SpaceX's announcers and Blue Origin's. The Blue Origin people are just very obviously PR flacks with no technical knowledge whatsoever and trying desperately to make their little bottle rocket sound like the most important thing in space flight history.
Thats why your country is so misinformed on science. You have people with media and English degrees on the news trying to explain it all. If we had let the scientists speak covid could have been stopped in about two weeks.
This was great. Just a bit miffed that you had a camera right there and only showed a few deployments. Why is everything so guarded? Is your fear of litigation so rife in the US ?
That boost back from ground view was so cool. @17:27

This is the most amazing flight profile... that flip and boostback are quite a sight
The shots are amazing... throughout the mission.
Go SpaceX
Watching this level of landing accuracy with hover slam, I'm starting to feel catching a booster doesn't sound too ridiculous. I really wish their starship program go well.
MY GOD that camera angle from the bottom showing the stage separation was SOOOOO good
The long range shot of stage separation and the booster flip is maybe the coolest shot I’ve ever seen watching launches
Hard to believe that this entire process happens on less than 10 minutes.
Excellent job Space X!
Lovely stuff. 105 satellites and a Return To Launch Site for the booster. Amazing 🤩
ua-cam.com/video/2QS9Jto2YhM/v-deo.html
What happened to stage 2? does anyone know?
AND 10th flight!
Those were amazing tracking shots from the ground cameras.
They make it look like it is an ordinary everyday thing!! Flawless launch and 1st stage booster landing (10th!).
Bravo!

I am from Russia, and live in this time... time great dream. This video is super. Respect Mask and all team spaceX.

its insane to think about how far ahead SpaceX is of everyone in the space industry.
Elon Musk brilliant's insanity..
more than NASA?
I just realised how awesome the spacex theme sounds really fits in to the “space” theme
As a kid I got up to watch men land on the moon and now watch repeatedly a rocket land back on earth. Amazing really.
SpaceX keeps me motivated...thank you SpaceX team.
NEVER GETS OLD! I wish I were still teaching (college physics, retired). When students ask the question "why do I need to learn math and physics?" I would just play this video, pause just after that spectacular landing, look at the class....point at the screen and say "IS THAT REASON ENOUGH?!". It is a great time to be alive!!!! Thank you Elon and SpaceX for bringing us all along on your dream of all kickass dreams!!!
And programming. No human pilot needed. Reminds me of that toy “mousetrap “ no child needed….
It's always incredible to see a 1st stage take off, flip it's self around, boost back and land right next to where it took off in under 10 minutes ! That's some incredible footage of an insane achievement ! It takes me longer to get out of bed in the morning !
Oh yeah, love those RTLS missions. Getting rare these day. I will never get tired of the camera filming the booster coming back down, engines roaring after the double sonic boom.
Crystal blue sky in the middle of the day AND a boost-back landing requires FULL SCREEN. The ground camera view of the stage separation and boost-back is always amazing, and of course "riding" that beast all the way to the landing is inspirational.
I love the music during the coast phases. I listen to it at work all the time, lol.
Man that does not get old. Seeing the first stage flip and boostback from the ground on a clear day in Florida is fun. Seeing the landing from the ground and air is amazing!
You can watch for an infinitely long time how water flows, how fire burns, and how the first stage lands...
Elon, you are the best!
SpaceX you guys blow my mind every time you land that 1st stage... I know it's probably a very minor part of what you guys do now,.. but as a 50year old it is just like watching sci-fi come to life. Well done Elon and team👍

F9 landings never get old, love the stage 2 separation coverage from land that was cool and 10th landings will become the new norm - SpaceX you rock!
That never fails to impress. Would love to see it in person some day.

I watched this whole live stream and there wasn't a single scene in it with Jason Statham. 1 star.

One satellite from Nepal out of those 105. A journey to thousand miles begins with a single step
I could watch the first stage landings all day and not get bored.
That was incredible, never seen the separation and second engine ignite from the ground. Super cool!
17:20 is one of the most amazing separation I have ever seen... Seperation view from ground camera in clear day light.. And then booster flip back and turn on its engine.. Amazing 🤩

I can't wait for starship and the booster to do the same
Another Great Video and deployment for SpaceX... that Return manouver was amazing... and being catch on camera was insane... Geat Work!
It's honestly crazy how we are easily capable of launching 105 sats in one go. I can't imagine what it will be like in the next few years with more compact cubesats and with starship.
Love the music too 😁
Yes. One of the special touches of Space X videos is the sound track. Mostly is from "Music for Space" by Test Shot Starfish. Amazing. I just want to know who did the initial track, it´s not in TSS discography, could not identify who plays it.
