Today's tale is where we find out that Catalyst isn't for everyone, and while I'm not the worst player in Apex Legends, I might be the worst Catalyst by a LONG way. Even now, as I type this description, I have no idea how to make use of the witch's abilities. The new map, Broken Moon, is absolutely HUGE. The zip rails feel amazing to fly around on and it's great to see the Mastiff back on the floor to give me that satisfying 11 damage. XD

im really glad you make these. when you watch people play apex theyre normally like crazy unreal good and if ur like me and kinda insecure and feel bad when u let ur team down or miss shots, its really nice knowing someone who got 15 kills in one game can have super stupid moments and share them with everyone.
kinda side tangent, i constantly feel the need to be good at every game ever because im a girl and some people are just cruel and think youre not good enough at something because your gender, sadly competitive gaming is plagued with this. i have anxiety unmuting my mic in a pubs lobby. but seeing imperfections in your gameplay while still doing amazing in the end lets me know its okay to mess up and it doesnt mean im falling into a stereotype it means i made a mistake
It was just about two weeks ago that UA-cam recommended Rag Tagg's videos and I've enjoyed every single minute. The video that cracked me up the most was when his in game audio wasn't recording and he graced us with exquisite sound effects. 😂😂😂😂...a joy to watch. Bless up

It's funny because I watch you're videos and I think "I love this guy he's awesome" even though when I first started I though "I'm soooo much better than him can't believe I thought I was bad" good and bad don't apply when watching rag tagg he genuinely makes the game seem fun so I hope everyone enjoys this video as much as I did

Its funny that XO is your sponsor... Ive been playing for awhile now since my joystick on my controller doesn't work well enough to navigate loot boxes or menus on any other game... Crossout is definitely super fun, but hella grindy... You either pay to win... Or live your life grinding for materials to earn enough to craft parts... But awesome video ragg. Glad youre still making videos. About the only apex content I watch nowadays is yours

That was an outstanding video as usual, and each week as I'm seriously contemplating abandoning this game after nearly 4 years playing it... I see your videos, and think..."Ok, I will play a little bit more." Maybe if I played regular BR instead of ranked, it might be better, but who knows... also, that new Revenant Skin is pretty awesome! Thanks for always making the game look and sound more fun than I am able to achieve in my games. 🙂
Pubs wouldnt be much better, outside of "its pubs who gives a shit" so its less pressure. Randoms will range from masters to "both randoms combined have the IQ of a pinecone". Luckily one can just requeue and move on. Id say play some pubs if youre growing tired of the game. Or just take some weeks off. Always helps.
As another day one veteran of Apex, I've taken several breaks over the last 3+years, but told myself I was done for good half way through last season. And while I still enjoy watching Apex content like Ragg's, I have to say its been a wonder for my mental health. It surprised me how much of my time the game was eating into each week. That "just one more game" mind set being to blame.
@@runthemeows1197 Thanks for the suggestions... maybe that would help. The last two or three seasons, I've pretty much only played Ranked Arenas, where the matching is KNOWN to be crap, but at least if I've got to run into an immediate firefight to die, I at least have a weapon, and only one other team to contend with. LOL! So in BR, I'm back at the bottom of Bronze and seeing former Diamonds and Predators in there as well, which is really adding to my distaste for the game as I never got beyond Gold I, despite how long I've been playing.
I've also been playing more on the Mobile version since it released, and when I'm lucky enough to not run into a full team of cheaters with Aimbots and Wall hacks, it has been fairly fun as an alternative. Maybe I just need to take some time away from the Playstation completely and go read a book or two. HA! take care.

Im prone to spamming ping when im down as well. I do it not as a KILL THIS GUY, i use it more as a tracker for my teammates. I personally try to do it only when enemies are close to my teammates to keep them aware of where enemies are for when LoS is lost. I can absolutely see how it can be annoying af but my friends and I have won many a battle with that tactic. I personally feel its faster then saying it over comms and gives a pretty good enough visual reference of where they are.
pings once where someone is. Ping them again once if they move for a flank or similar. Spampings only remove every ounce of audio your teammate has. Having to mute pings while in combat is annoying as fuck. Oh, and as an added PSA to whoever reads this:keep your knockdown up when youre downed for you teammates to use as cover. The amount of randoms who are not only not helping, but actively being a handicap after theyre downed is way too high.
I always feel like I watch your videos and I'm like... well I was on the bad end of a Rag Tagg encounter

I stop playing a few days in this new season. My mind almost snapped with the freaking crashes and freezing during gameplay.
I thank you for your content Rag Tagg. Your epic narrative telling skills helped me stay for this long. But this last season was my breaking point. The new legend sends me all the wrong vibes and all of the recent changes just feel like they changed it for the sake of changing it instead of actually making it better. None of my friends play this game anymore and the toxicity is suffocating. I wish you the best in your future endeavors and that your sanity remains intact.

Yesterday, I got my first win of season 15. After tons of games where I was either destroyed by a sweaty Octane, or left behind by a sweaty Octane on my team, I finally decided to take Rag's advice and become what I hate. The game started with a clutch: I landed and got attacked before I could get a weapon I got blue shields from purely melees, and after we killed the first squad, we rotated around, third partying and being the lowest of the low. At the end, with a couple smart Valkerie plays from my brother, we pitted the last other two squads against each other, and third partied for the win. Maybe it was dirty, and maybe I don't deserve it, but hey. At least I didn't solo push a trio and get downed right away.

I like that you mentioned chess because thats exactly how I see her ultimate. In order to use it properly you have to think like its chess: so determine the the battlefield, find the midline, and take control of the midline. In chess whoever holds the midline has the greatest advantage.
To be fair...I ask my teammates to ping enemies they see just like that if they are down. It gives me information that I need and that overrides how annoying it can be
