I had Shipwreck and an Eel as well as the Devilfish. That made for such a fun playscene. Many of my GI Joe adventures were on the water due to what I had.

Shipwreck is a weird time specific GI Joe character. The US Navy has a weird history with facial hair. From 1970 until 1984 Only Chief Petty Officers through Master Chief could wear facial hair. So it was a rank/status thing. In 1984 all beards were banned. We personal head cannon is Shipwreck joined GI Joe to avoid having to shave.

I just got this figure and love it...pure Nostalgia. A shame it doesnt have a file card. As a kid i always remembered his name as Hector Delgado...puerto rican. It was like a real persons name and bio. This has no info on the back!
They force you to go to their website now. Since they use the same packaging internationally, they will have to have bios in five different languages taking up the whole package. That would also cost them extra for printing and they're cheap

It’s a great figure sculpt. Would be cool if I had unlimited funds, time and space… I see awesome stuff like this, Star Wars Black Series, etc. and _man,_ I’m missing out.

I just got mine the elbows aren’t like that ……I lot of people are having paint issues (especially with the head ) mine is perfect ……maybe it’s just me but it seems like the people that get the figures early always have the most QC issues
Like I mentioned with the elbows, it could just be the lighting. Things look way different under my bright lights

My favorite joe but the removable hair is a huge turn off. They could've had an alt (neutral face) head instead.
You never have to take the hair off if you don't want to. Lol. All the other figures just come with one option for the most part except the guys that have helmets or goggles
