In today's vlog, hubby and I went kitchen appliance shopping and although I think I found my dream kitchen fridge, unfortunately, it required me to go back and re-work my budget. I did a short reality check chit-chat and then hubby and I went out for date night at a cute new restaurant. The rest was the usual - gym, work, and just living a realistic life. Oh, and my dental struggles started in this vlog too, but we'll see more of that in upcoming vlogs.

Own race, own pace. And yes people can put so much pressure on others and especially if you are in the public eye. Take your time and by the time you’ve furnished your home, you’ll love it and it would be so much more rewarding than rushing the process.
Zizi...I admire your realness Sisi. My goodness, saying no to pressures of society, doing things "at your time". I relate to you so much. Thank you for reminding us on how important it is to not put too much pressure on ourselves...
Honestly living in a home 1st and getting the feel of how you want things will save you money in the long run. Many of us have purchased things before moving in only to realize they do not fit the space and now you have to replace. Also save your coin mama and look out for black Friday specials I am a fan of it especially for large appliances. Start looking at stuff you want 2-3 months before to see how the price changes....also diversify your appliance stores. Congratulations 🎊 on your new home
True also the fact that you might find that the area you bought your house in is not a good fit for you so even renovating is not something you should rush into
Buying a house is really expensive. We just bought a house and there’s sooo much that we would like to upgrade but can’t. We need to first save before we renovate so I can totally relate

I like the talk about taking ur time to furniture your house ,these UA-cam streets make it seem like money grows from trees . We bought our house 4yrs ago and only now we will start buying quality and proper furniture as well as renovating it . Renovations are hell expensive 😞
