Karam festival
On this promising day, Karam Devta is venerated. Karam Devta is believed to be the God of youth and power. The festival moreover indicates the celebration of nature and extravagance. The factions or adivasis adulate this festival by offering their supplications to the Karm tree. The entire festival turns around the Karma tree which is the picture of Karam Devta.
There are various functions which are performed on the day. History of Karam festivity is extraordinarily interesting and besides infers the love and dedication to Nature. The Karam festivity is a festival of agribusiness and is incredibly holy to the inherent people of Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar and Assam.
