It took Waylon a long time to get over Buddy dying in the crash and his living. Waylon was known for his fight against the (machine) of Nashville. At the time most singers had very little say in their business dealings. He was one of the Outlaws that changed the system. His type of music was known as outlaw music cause it didn't fit the orchestrated music of the time.
