It's not just Wendy's guardian, the whole guardian system is terrible. The guardian is paid a lot of money for "taking care" of the person. It isn't just money, the guardian has power over the person's life. Especially if the person is wealthy.

That’s the problem! You can’t fire a guardian. Once you’re under a court-ordered guardianship/ conservatorship- you no longer have rights. They literally have full legal control of all of your finances. You can’t even hire a lawyer to fight the guardianship because you can’t access your funds to pay for one. It’s insane our justice system allows this to happen. It can happen to any of us!
