Hi, all. I took this pod for first three minutes and I appreciate it on discussion on definition of machine learning. The guy answering the question bring the intuition into a logic way. From data perspective, machine learning could make prediction as output. Regarding to the data, continuous response and discrete variable require different methods to predict. And prediction is the focus of machine learning, distinguished with econometric methods on consistent estimator. The industry will benefit on the technology advancing but my also put negative impact on users’ privacy. It’s good thing to know more on this technology summarizing from computer science and statistics
Loving this podcast and excited to see Brian join in! Out of curiosity, does this mean Colton is no longer on staff? Will we see him continue with the Twitch streams or another semester of GD50? I wasn't quite sure what was meant by "headed out West". Thanks!
Retronaut 88 according to an Instagram post on June 6 he has left Harvard and moved back home to California. Sad that he won’t be a part of CS50 anymore, I really enjoyed his content. Hopefully he continues to produce content on his own or with another organization in California.
