Sweet vid! I just got my first go pro and shot some terrible video of my V Plow in action. Once I figure out how to use all of this tech I’ll try to post some stuff up too. Good stuff man!
Heck yeah 👍 congrats man! Some of my best shots on a GoPro are the ones I never planned. Just put the camera in a weird/random spot and turned out better then I expected 😂
No major issues with mine except for the lower trip spring bolts loosened up and I had to tighten those back up. Don’t remember doing very many crappy sidewalks but if your in the v position it will trip but it does throw you forward if it’s big enough. Personally all boss ATV plows in my opinion are up there with the best plows on the market for ATV’s and small machines. Even the straight plows. As long as you or your crew learn the plow and how it manages cracks and other poor surfaces it should be fine. But anything can break if abused. On large cracks or transitions in sidewalks sometimes it won’t trip as easy as a straight plow and you do go flying forward. I never went fast enough to go over the handlebars but I got really close once or twice. Plow and machine handled it fine.
I appreciate your productions. I have a Boss straight blade on a Sportsman 570. I would like to connect and share with you some tips I have which will improve your traction significantly. You do a great job!
I wanna see it on tight sidewalks I think I am going to buy one today but the sidewalks we have have a lot of 90゚ angles Hoping it will maneuver well enough
Just bought a 2023 polaris sportsman 850 premium and added the Boss V plow. Having issues with weight distribution and the front suspension sagging to a point where the electrical connections can rub the left tire and when backing out from pile with blade raised doesn't like to turn because of almost no weight in the rear. Did you have these problems and what was your solution?
All this footage is spread over 2 years, so probably GoPro hero 6 and 7 and DJI mavic pro drone. GoPro basically for everything. I really like the 7. The newer ones I haven’t tried but the horizon leveling features and super good stabilization are always nice to have, makes the footage look better and you don’t really need to edit out any wobble making everything easier. I always shot in 1080p, everyone talks about shooting 4K and yes it is higher quality and looks better but 1080 is perfect for UA-cam. Most people can’t stream 4K anyways so they end up watching 1080 98% of the time. Saves on storage as well.
I had high lifter springs installed to help with the extra weight of the plow. My biggest complaint about the plow that Iv told boss to add is down pressure with the plow to back drag better.
With the plow on or off? Off their is plenty when using it in the off season. They also make a (expensive) plate that can be used in the off-season. With the plow on not a lot of ground clearance because it weighs so much.

🤘 so much fun on those powder days!
i want more!! love this "series"
🤘 “series” never thought of it that way 🤔
Havent watched yet but know its going to be a good video 👍
I love that it can Back Drag pretty well! I am considering the boss straight plow for my ATV. Would you recommend steel or poly and why?
Music is awful
Come on make more plowing videos
Hey man thinking about ordering 8 of these plows how do the handle some what shitty sidewalks? And have you had any major issues?

i thought they only made them for "700cc and up" ?
Appreciate it! Always happy to learn new tricks to help everyone out.
You can put any plow on any machine. They may not make a mount for your machine but you can easily weld up an existing mount to fit any machine.
PLS MORE!
I wanna see it on tight sidewalks I think I am going to buy one today but the sidewalks we have have a lot of 90゚ angles Hoping it will maneuver well enough
How’s the setup between side walks ?
Love the atv plow vids, keep doing them please

Thanks
Bro please give us a whole rundown of it with links to the stuff you got me sold😂
Just contact your local boss dealer 😂🤘
What camera did you use and was it the same camera for the whole video?

Cool video! Your UA-cam channel is going in great places with more videos like this. Can’t wait for more videos like this.
Would have been a great video, without the music. Rather hear the quad engine.
What is the best ATV for snow plowing in your opinion?
How much is your whole setup? Besides the camera equipment
Did you do any shock work after install bc mine doesn’t back drag that well like there’s no down pusher
I had high lifter springs installed to help with the extra weight of the plow. My biggest complaint about the plow that Iv told boss to add is down pressure with the plow to back drag better.
Pure Boss Awesomeness!
🤘
Wouldn’t that be pure ‘bossomeness’? 😂
I want to put a v-plow on a polaris 570. What springs are you running on you bike front and back?
High lifter front springs. Rear springs I didn’t touch. But some guys put the high lifters front and back.
Quick question what do you use to hold the shovel?
What snow shovel is that? Digging that setup!
Could you show us the remote for the plow?
What state do you live in, how do you drive on the roads
Montana, we can ride on roads if we have a license plate, mirrors, horn, blinker or hand signals.
how much ground clearance do you have from the mounting bracket?
With the plow on or off? Off their is plenty when using it in the off season. They also make a (expensive) plate that can be used in the off-season. With the plow on not a lot of ground clearance because it weighs so much.
@@AutoPilotMT From the mount to the bottom of the plow blade. Have you posted a video of you mounting the the plow to the ATV?
Don’t remember, maybe. With all my videos their should be enough angles of the plow to get an idea of ground clearance and everything.
Did you change your springs on the 850 with the boss plow? Having the V installed this week on a ‘21 850, wondering if I need the upgrade.
You don’t need it, but I highly recommend it to everyone. I did highlifter springs on the front. Congrats on the machine!
How much do the V cost installed? thanks
