I just watched the film and Alona's solo "Anonymous Ones" was my instant favorite. It gives so much awareness to mental health and that everyone has their own battles. I cried so many times 😭🥰
I thought the movie would be horrible going in because I am a huge fan of the stage version, and I didn't think it would be good as a movie. But the movie was great!!!! I loved the relationship between Alana and Evan. The actors are all amazing too!! I thought the stage version was much better though and they cut out some of my favorite parts in the movie. The whole story has a amazing message and I am so so thankful for this musical 🥰
This movie was tonally weird. It was a bummer that Evan didn’t any kind of final scene for closure with Connor’s mother (Amy Adams), as I felt their relationship was the most endearing. But I guess that’s reality…he lied and will never be close with the family again. Certainly not an uplifting movie, if that’s what they were going for.
“Be prepared to cry” what?! 🤣 Dear Evan Hansen was shockingly misguided I’m actually really obsessed with trying to understand how this film was made the way it was. Evan Hansen is a unforgivable character and it’s made worse when he looks 46 years old. The editing is so bad. Waving Through A Window is a good song though that’s about it. Such a creepy movie.
Yessss. The Requiem scene with them walking down the hallways is one of the hardest hitting, if not THE hardest hittest moment for me as well.
I just want Ben to know that I, for one, definitely got the message and feeling he was portraying. Everyone in this film was phenomenal.

This cast is so cute love Kaitlyn dever having her kelly clarkson momento LMFAO
Most musical movies I watch when I watch it again I skip the songs but with this movie every song flows smoothly and it doesn’t feel forced
every school should show this movie. You are not a lone. Mental Health should not be shameful. Your not alone.
