When you play this back at 2X speed on playback of video for a more real speed of execution, this looks nasty and gets the job done. The only thing missing is Rick Flair's sound of "woooo", for total destruction. I'd let my opponent know, to be the man, you got to beat the man, Woooo!
I am a former Shaolin Kempo Karate practitioner and would have been a yellow belt if I had stayed but no seasoned street thug is gonna let you try this out on them. Yes black bellts have been killed in street fights. Eat your ego and be willing to use techniques from any style without putting yourself in danger
This is absurd. I know the Kenpo experts are in astounding condition and do have powerful strikes. I don't think many people are going to be receiving the 3rd strike onward.
nice. I never got a chance to use any of my training. I once almost did on top of a mountain, I ran out of gas and a group of guys came over. I stepped out, he said you're car wont start? I said yeah, I ran out of gas. He said you know we could rob you right? I looked over to my backseat where I had my escrima sticks, I looked back and said yeah, you can try. They walked away unfortunately lol
Yes I had to use that a couple times in my life to great success, the only problem I've had is the opponent keeps dropping to the ground I can never finish it !
@@daneck100 *_That’s alright. That’s a good problem to have! Rarely do practitioners execute a full technique from beginning to end in a real world situation when their training is called upon. That’s because fights move! Human bodies will react in their own unique ways! After the initial first strike impacts, they may not be in position for us to finish the whole technique. It is often times basics that will win the fights! But we drill and practice the techniques anyway because that’s the syllabus of the art!_* 🐅🔥⛩🏯🥋🧘🏻♂️☯️🏯⛩🔥🐉
Kenpo was made to survive on the street, not all the techniques will flow as shown in reality. That's why we have to adapt. All bits of techniques are interchangeable strike as the opportunity arises. Don't be so close minded or one day you will be bagged
I love the guys making comments like they actually know what they are talking about. 1st your talking like your a tough guy looking for a fight. That is opposite of what a martial artist stands for 2nd. those who talk like that are ALWAYS the person who really knows nothing. That is the last person that could really defend himself in the street. 3rd. Have you been in any street fights? They are always unpredictable. ALWAYS. Hence the exact reason that there is so many variations that a technique can show you so that you are more ready than a guy who doesn’t train like that. 4th Being someone who has been in multiple street fight and have practiced Kenpo it has worked numerous times. Not because someone attacked me with a rehearsed attack but because of the plethora of knowledge I was able to not only see my opening but also strike when needed. FYI training in the ring, tournament or octagon help but does not make you an expert in reality. Especially if you boast about being a bad ass.
Kempo guys love smacking their own Gi's...and doing sound effecst especially when they are receiving the technique and not even really getting hit. LOL so much time spent on an out dated art that doesn't work in today's fighting word.
He has been astounding for 40 years
I'm a BJJ guy and I love watching Larry perform Kenpo!
I'm a shotokan 4dan mate and I feel the same. Absolutely brilliant
Why?
I’m from another style of karate and I to love watching Mr. tatum perform these techniques it’s like watching, to use an old phrase, poetry in motion.
You mean for the entertainment value?
Yes only good for entertainment purposes
One of my favorite techniques.
Beautiful technique from Mr. Tatum, thank you for upload
Much respect!
The best G.M. Larry Tatum

Amazing
Kicking into the inside of the right knee has always appealed to me !
Tim wishing he had stayed at the house that day.
Through the years I never have ceased to feel bad for Tim.
@crossingthemountain yes did he really need all that grunting it's not like he hadn't been through these techniques hu ndreds of times
I love Larry and kenpo man no hating whatsoever, but guys usually throw haymakers and are not gonna stand there to be hit like that.
I think that guy's groans and grunts are expressions of pain 😆
Wtsaaaa😂😂😂😂😂
I'm a BJJ guy , I study ninjitsu also with Akban and Shiniobi Science, a little Hakido also
Good stuff! Post black belt techniques
"Hus-aaah!"
Anyone who does that stepping punch shit that no one ever does in actual fight has ever hit a human being for real in real life ever
I beat some guy ass with this technique
Kenpo is very effective
So….
It’s really seven swords. Eight if you count the kick…

Is that Tim Bulot ???

It does work because scumbags always punch like a boxer

after watching this I'd definitely bag any kenpo practitioner...

Really ? LoL ! I'm here.........

Love me to read some "The art of (the keyboard) War(rior)".
That wasnt a side kick. Didnt even try the second time.

I love watching Tatum but most of Kenpo, outside of basics, is unworkable garbage.
This one actually looks practical. I like the sound effects also.
