This gentleman speaks the truth about farming, people being robbed who's taking their products for sale..
My mother was robbed. I remembered when I was a child heading into Port of Spain market.
Government shows no concern for farmers in Trinidad much less help or assistance.
Great video Mr Lyndon for highlighting the plight of farmers
    🙏

Really are you that ignorant why tax the people who is feeding you. I guess you have no experience in farming and the hard work done with sometimes much loses. I will suggest to you when every thing gets more difficult for food you eat concrete you will live.

Hi Lyndon the best solution to this issue is a co operative for the farmers of Caura where all the farmers can sell everything they produce from crops ,by product like farm harry wines the villagers homemade peppersauce, seasons, jams pickles, amchar etc on Friday's sat,sun and especially Mondays bucz everybody knows Monday is Caura biggest lime day lots of visitors and sale and make use of the big red building I think it was the wasa building 😮or post office perfect location

Trini farmers are very innovative and adaptable to producing quality products. The middle men and wholesale buyers advantage them

Great job Sir, I could not stop watching. This man is so intelligent and hard working. Farmers deserve to be heard and given what is due to them as they contribute enormously to the food bins of the Islands. I am not surprised that after five years, the subsidies are still being processed. Typical government snail pace just like Town and Country. They all sit drawing their fat salaries and just goofing off at the expense of the hardworking taxpayers. Hope this comes to the attention of someone in authority and financial help will come soon to the farmers. Kudos to you Mr. Baptiste.

Working the land IS hard work. No wonder we hightail it to the nearest supermarket and squint at the courageous farmer; glad though when he throws in the lagniappe. Heck!

Without fully understanding the issue of farmers market and other businesses, I believe the businesses like Macoya Market people want to buy wholesale from the farmers, and do not want the farmers to sell directly to retail customers....Happens everywhere.... I support farmers market (farmers selling retail directly to the public) 100%....Get rid of the Middleman in the situation....sometimes middlemen are needed but not in this one.

We have to undetstand that Industrial farmering will be over. It is no longer sustainable so farmers all over the world have to go back to traditional farming. Small farmers wil be the new way and natural fertilizers. We are now in the age of aquarius therefore the frequency of earth has change so the earth will be now cleansing itself. So Trinidadians keep up with your ignorance you will pay a high price also. Its time to vote Independent party and change the rhythm. You are the people who is holding the power in your hands you should be holding all of them accountable.

All farmers are having difficulty... everyone needs at least a small garden. It's the world's most important business in the world. Agriculture is a need...as everyone needs to eat and the other industries depend heavily on it. ❤
