    I have been pairing Magikey with so many different decks trying to find something that works. Dark Magician, XYZ Dragon Cannon, Blue Eyes, Celtic Guardian, and Royal Flush were my first attempts. Then I just put them together with Doll Monsters which that deck worked out better than the others. Then I tried Libromancer Magikey and Invoked Magikey, needless to say those were my stronger profiles. Then Full Armor came out, and I threw the Full Armor engine with Speedroids in my Libromancer Magikey deck and my Invoked Magikey deck, it ran smooth and could play somewhat competitively even against the likes of Bystial, Horus, and Kash.
    Long story short, Full Armor got moved to my IRL deck with the Primite cards, I managed to beat my friend''s Utopia deck and his Traptrix deck, my brother's Floowandereeze and my brothers Adamancipators in IRL because the Primite cards are that strong, and the Full Armor as long as it has consistent level four monsters or level three monsters to use could close out a game no problem. Also Magikey Unlocking is the, "Key" strategy to winning against most decks. Given Utopia preferred being a light monster, and Floos preferred being wind monsters.
    I will say, if you play a pure Magikey vs a Pure Suship, you're odds of winning are just a little bit lower, because Suships at least have a gameplan to close out the game with their core strategy, whereas Magikey has interaction but is kind of slow when it comes to closing out games. That's why I like like Full Armor.

    Could you do a combo or test hands video for this deck?

    Love this deck! Although instead of multiple clavkys i prefer to just run a suite of normals with different attributes (such as megalosmasher to make dragite)

    Alright so I have 2 questions.
    1. If you were to throw budget out the window do you think the fiendsmith engine would be a good inclusion along with the primite since we have ourselves a light fiend in archetype or do you think that's a little too on the nose
    2. this could arguably fall in putting it with the hand traps but do you think the gamma package would be good? Not only as a hand trap but if you can get clavis along with the driver on the board you can make a chaos angel with both effects or do you feel that is a little too niche to want the extra and main deck slots

      1. Don't think it needed to enhance the magikey strategy much tbh, but the engine is always going to be gd on its own.
      2. Gamma isn't worth imo on its own, I see the use of primite into driver but unless you play the link 2 psy frame and something like redoer to search gamma or a psy piece then it's a bit much

      Ocg has a light level 4 normal fiend, which lets you mix the deck with fiendsmith much much better.
      Right now magikey is sadly shit 😭

      @@Gilgamesh-em6ru they just offer so much to so many decks that have been left behind really nice to dust them off and modernise them a bit tbh

      They are. It's amazing how much it opens older decks and not just used in stun style decks or stuck being a loci for plants.
      One of the variants I'm trying out is igknights infernobles.

      you can shave some of the edges down for HTs like only play 2 traps, cut the vanillas down a little, but sadly the deck needs most of the cards to get the full value from everything

    You absolutely need 3 of the field, this deck bricks SOOO BAD and the hands with the field are often the only playable ones. Id go as far as running foolish goods and rainbow bridge just to see it.

      @PhuckedUpPhilosophy aren't you just increasing your brick count though.
      The idea is with terra and 2 you can at least deck thin by 1, rather than running more bricks to get to a Hard OPT field spell?

      @ the problem is, most of your hands that DONT have the field, either aren’t playing at all, or put up almost nothing and/or lose to any minor interaction. You really need to hard draw the field spell for this deck to function properly and consistently. It reminds of post banlist gimmick puppet in that aspect. Every hand with the field spell plays the game and a good majority of the ones that don’t draw it, don’t do shit. I have played this deck since it came out and I am very confident in this claim. Do you not have this issue in your test hands ?

      @PhuckedUpPhilosophy that's where the primites come into play,
      I haven't found a major issue without the field spell, but can see it being put to 3 should that become an issue, the next stage would be to play chicken game and set rotation, that way you can block imperm and also set up protrection/draw power, or if you don't want to give them chicken game you can give them the BLS field spell so they are locked from FS

      @ yeah unfortunately the primite cards don’t do much unless you also draw the field spell. They just get you normal monster bodies. In my build I play terraforming, set rotation, chicken game, AND 3x foolish burial + rainbow bridge. That’s how committed I am to seeing the field spell. The crazy thing is, even with those ratios, I find the deck CONSTANTLY draws dead hands , and those hands are always the ones where you don’t see the field.

      @PhuckedUpPhilosophy with that many added bricks maybe prosp would be better in place of one of them, nearly 10 additonal bricks seems way to much imo,
      The primites add so much more than just 1 vanilla,
      It will get you at least 2 from 1 card, a NS disruption and then a rank 4 or synchro 8 of your choosing, leaving you 4 more cards to do as you wish with.
