I don't want shows to just pander to fujoshis, I want them to truely represent the community as a whole. I mean, to be fair, there are probably some instances where a person lives without questioning their sexuality before finding someone important enough to disrupt that confidence. I mean, I say I'm straight but I'm not really counting on it. I only have crushes on men now but sometimes I see a girl and "huh." But I'm also a girl. Its different with me. Being straight is the norm and the standard. We are taught from a young age about the relationships between men and women. Therefore we don't expect to like our own genders and are often dissuaded from doing so, so a person could grow up thinking with conviction that they are strictly heterosexual only to meet someone of the same sex that they can't just brush off as "Oh I just think he's generally attractive" or "I'm just admiring him because I want to be like him not with him." Sometimes it's simply easier to be bi and ignore it because you already like the opposite sex so you don't have to force yourself to look.

Yes. I found the script writer did a very great job. They give very nice dialogues along the first two episodes. I feel this series very meaningful not just a sweet fantasy given to all the BL lovers.

The writer of GSP is part of the lgbt community and also some of the production team. That's why this series gives some sort of education and social awareness. He also said in a certain interview that he longs for the day when we (lgbtq+) won't have to 'come out' anymore just like how straight people don't.

only watched the first two episodes so far but I like the writing very much already. I think you're right. This show feels as if it is *not* written for 'fujoshis', straight girls who are excited to watch BL on screen but would shun an actor for actually being gay - in most cases anyway. that is the reason why many actors keep up appearances or keep their personal life very private. for fear of backlash from the viewers and sponsors alike. this show seems different and it is refreshing.

“Nababasa ako... May tulo ka kasi”. Hahahaha. This series is setting a higher standard right now. The script writing is so impeccable. No nonsense. No wasted throwing of lines. Every utterance of dialogues contribute to the essence of the story and provide us a clear picture of the characters’ personality, aspirations and convictions (and the lack of it). The reference to euphemism, “validity” of the person, feelings & choices for example, is intelligent writing. And the uncle telling Karl on the phone, “...start investing on the things that you love” is a heart’s voice speaking. This series is not just telling a story. It is telling a lesson.
Okay, but can we just appreciate how refined and prominent Vlad's character is and ofcourse the way in which the actor brought out the beautiful pieces of personalities together and portrayed him.
I really liked the idea they had for the credits, where every episode Vlad is getting closer to the counch, meaning that they're getting closer!! Very smart.

This BL i must say is one of the best already. It doesn't follow the trend of most BL series storylines but digs deeper ang talks about reality like the acceptance of lgbtq+ community in our society, being independent, choosing what your passion really is and etc. Its actually inspiring to watch this kind of series and i'm proud that PH is just starting in this genre but they already making great stories.
Because Vlad knows who really he is.. His out.. While Karl he has this feeling,guts that he is gay.. but then he thinks what people will say.. And His parent's , specially his father.. That's why Vlad is much matured than Karl..
This series really hit differently from others, they know how gay people think and reflect the reality situation. And I do think Ian is super hot, it’s not as hot as others BLs actor just playing their role but as a confidence Gay people flirty that you can feel a like a real guy but not just a role. Like every gay should be like Vlad. No need to be shy and stay cool. btw have anyone noticed, in the end they come closer from last episode and look at each other, I can see this scene all day
About that credit scene, that's what I also commented on the live chat, that they got closer compared to the 1st episode. Maybe on the 3rd one, Vlad is already sitting beside Karl.

Karl is an adorable mess. He could've just turned off the stove, my goodness. And his dreams... I mean, Vlad crawling up under his covers is probably more of a [hot]premonition but it's his own paranoia causing it. I'm loving Vlad more and more. It would've been so easy to make him a typical rich fkboi and they're usually the ones with the sexual identity crisis but instead he's secure in who he is and has a surprising maturity considering how much of a brat he can also be. Kudos to the writers for not going the stereotypical route.
Even though there is a lot of humor in the series but it also touches on some serious and important issues within the community it's not just entertainment but informative and educational as well which so many bls failed to provide and i'm grateful for that .

When it comes to watching any BL series, I used to observe their acting first. If the actors are awkward then I won't watch it no matter how they look good. In this particular series, I can say that I am very amaze by them as an art student who likes to act. They do have a natural and amazing way of delivering their characters. I'm loving how mature this series feels compared to so many bls, it tackles a lot of topics that young adults like me can relate to, also the humor is my cup of tea, not over the top characters which are only there for comedic relief but it's about actual situations that can happen to everyone. And both actors are great, not only handsome but also talented. Kudos to all the team.

I mean, from the title itself, the script na pangmatalino (it needs no euphemism--- galing plus the double meaning na batuhan ng lines) to even the written lines in the stuffs we can see in the apartment like the one written at the back of the laptop (I speak fluent movie quotes); It's all interconnecting to the concept of this show. Knowing, Juan Miguel who recalibrated spoken poetry in PH, certainly he will uplift Pinoy BL with this one!

This series is setting a higher standard right now. The script writing is so impeccable. No nonsense. No wasted throwing of lines. Every utterance of dialogues contribute to the essence of the story and provide us a clear picture of the characters’ personality, aspirations and convictions (and the lack of it). The reference to euphemism, “validity” of the person, feelings & choices for example, is intelligent writing.
And the uncle telling Karl on the phone, “...start investing on the things that you love” is a heart’s voice speaking. This series is not just telling a story. It is telling a lesson.

This BL i must say is one of the best already. It doesn't follow the trend of most BL series storylines but digs deeper ang talks about reality like the acceptance of lgbtq+ community in our society, being independent, choosing what your passion really is and etc. Its actually inspiring to watch this kind of series and i'm proud that PH is just starting in this genre but they already making great stories.

This series really hit differently from others, they know how gay people think and reflect the reality situation. And I do think Ian is super hot, it’s not as hot as others BLs actor just playing their role but as a confidence Gay people flirty that you can feel a like a real guy but not just a role. Like every gay should be like Vlad. No need to be shy and stay cool.

Karl is an adorable mess. He could've just turned off the stove, my goodness. And his dreams... I mean, Vlad crawling up under his covers is probably more of a [hot]premonition but it's his own paranoia causing it.
I'm loving Vlad more and more. It would've been so easy to make him a typical rich fkboi and they're usually the ones with the sexual identity crisis but instead he's secure in who he is and has a surprising maturity considering how much of a brat he can also be. Kudos to the writers for not going the stereotypical route.

I mean, from the title itself, the script na pangmatalino (it needs no euphemism--- galing plus the double meaning na batuhan ng lines) to even the written lines in the stuffs we can see in the apartment like the one written at the back of the laptop (I speak fluent movie quotes); It's all interconnecting to the concept of this show. Knowing, Juan Miguel who recalibrated spoken poetry in PH, certainly he will uplift Pinoy BL with this one!

Two 20 minute episodes in and Vlad is already one of my favorite BL characters ever. He’s such a mood! Karl and Vlad are so cute and funny together. Love this!
I love how they discussed the gay issues. I love how the series let Vlad to speak out his mind about he don't like how ppl look at them. It do change my view towards LGBT. Btw, Judit so cute 😍 I love her voice

Vlad’s accent and the faces he makes when he gets annoyed when Karl is being too grumpy and Karl being soft at times with Vladimir and the way he started calling Vladimir as “Vlad”makes Gaya Sa Pelikula absolutely a whole better series to watch and giggle and go “Awww”🤭🤭
