Ever since he won his national final (the previous live performance you saw) he's been working hard on his vocals and stage confidence and its been REALLY paying off! He sounds so good now! And its as you say, he feeds off the energy of the crowd and his energy on the stage is just amazing. You wouldn't think he's a shy introvert off the stage 🔥

Can you actually believe he is a shy introvert? He basically never performed on a live stage before the national final and he's been improving vocally and confidence wise ever since. He also killed it in Madrid and London. 🎉
He never performed as a lead singer. He did, however, performed as a guirarist and a back vocals.

In one interview he said he should not be moving that much on the stage, as it becomes harder to sing, but also added, that he can't help himself when he sees crowd getting crazy and enjoying it 😂

When I think of his performance in the semi-final at Dora and watching him now at this pre-parties, it`s not comparable. He became from a shy performer in the SF at Dora to a wild beast at this pre-parties...and his vocals improved so much!

I am REALLY struggling with how to use my 20 "Rest of the World" votes in the first semifinal. I know I will divide them up between Baby Lasagna and Bambi Thug. Bambi needs more help to qualify than Baby Lasagna does, but I also do not want to operate on the assumption that Baby Lasagna is a sure bet. If I'm thinking he could be a sure bet, then other people probably are as well. And that's dangerous.

There is a lot of politics in voting for the best Eurosong. Croatia has over a million ex-pats all over Europe. I think they are going to be the deciding factor to tip the scales in Marko’s favour.
Baby Lasagna entered Dora qualifying competition as a reserve; because someone else dropped out. Real Cinderella story.
The song is about young people leaving their home (and immigrating to other countries; 400,000 in 10 years) in search of a better life, and anxiety it creates. Yet, the song is lighthearted; the energy unbelievable. It was written, and produced solely by Marko Purišić (Baby Lasagna) in his room in Umag, small town, Croatia. He writes songs (over 200) & books too. First time performing as a singer on a big stage, Marko did great; people of Croatia reacted and gave him the greatest margin of victory ever.
