I am a Geelong supporter and Geelong didn't play their best, but Collingwood have a really good win record against Geelong so I knew it would come. Its only 1 loss so Geelong supporters look forward and keep supporting the Cats proud! Collingwood locked down Geelong especially Levi Greenwood on Selwood and Dangerfield is playing injured and our forward line was very struggling without the great Daniel Menzel.Proud to say I'm a Cats supporter bleed navy blue and white and I would like to congratulate Collingwood on a good win. GO CATSSSS!🐱
It seems that generally collingwood have an over-complicated game plan that cant really be put into practice. But when they go up against the "good sides" they seem to play more to their instincts. Kind of similar to how Richmond was last year, they had a talented squad but they were always 2nd guessing their decisions and getting caught out. Collingwood are just so frustrating to watch most of the time because we definitely have one of, if not the best midfield in the competition, but most of the time they seem unsure of themselves. This game was definitely a refreshing change and I really hope to see more of that kind of gutsy instincts footy.
Very good win by the Pies and an excellent response, I had a feeling the Pies would win similar to last season/year:).The Cats have had a couple close one's and you just wonder if keeping Danger & Selwood quiet goes a long way to stopping really beating the Cats?. I think no doubt the Cats will be there at the business end of the year, but honestly don't know if they can go all the way:)
It is quite clear to me that Buckley's curse has struck Geelong ever since the 2011 Grand Final, and it struck again in this one. This is now 6 wins out of 8 for Collingwood against Geelong since Nathan Buckley has been their coach, all against Chris Scott. All the talk that Nathan Buckley can't coach and should be sacked is absolute bullshit! Geelong have been one of the most successful teams of the past 10 years, and whatever formula that Buckley uses against the Cats seems to work. Chris Scott needs to figure out what that formula is if he is ever going to fix up his lop-sided coaching record against Nathan Buckley. Making the Geelong midfielders work harder and be more accountable so that players like Scott Pendlebury don't star every time that they play the Cats could be a start.
he can beat the cats.. but cant beat anybody else. so hes a good coach? bro.. since he took over 2012: 4th 2013: 7th 2014: 11th 2015: 12th 2016: 12th look i dunno about you but im seeing some kind of downward linear trend
It's very simple, one team is prepared to work harder than the other and apply much greater pressure at the contest than the other. The Geelong defenders had more disposals than their midfielders, and that is a sure sign that the midfielders weren't prepared to work hard enough or be accountable for their opponents. The lop-sided scoreboard (9 more scoring shots) reflected Collingwood's dominance in that area. It was an inexcusable and unacceptable performance from Geelong.
What a game, what an atmosphere, what a performance. So proud of the Pies. Let's get another win against Carlton next week ⚫️⚪️⚫️⚪️
6:51 Quit your complaining Selwood and keep walking.
Steve Rossi do you know what he said??

So Buckley has one teams number and Collingwood should keep him around, solid logic

yes. true. but collingwood.... collingwood.... seriously!?
Collingwood's a great team and has shown that throughout history.
Why is it cats win first five then choke next three
Then they win qualifying finals bu then get dominated they have a pattern every year
It always cats go 5-0 then bang lose to pies by 40 and go 5-1
#buckleyinoutshakeitallabout
