Telecasters are growing on me more and more these days. They have such a solid tone and work well for hard rock. A great discovery and great lesson here. 👍
I agree with you regarding the solos, Terrance! Definitely some great examples of bluesy/rock elements throughout. I hope you enjoy learning these solos. 👍
Thank you, JackM! I think the 'Turbo' album may have been a low point but for the most part all of their other releases have a few great songs on each of them.
Thank you for sharing this, Brittany! I agree. Judas Priest was one of the pioneers of hard rock. I still need to listen to all of their latest album, 'Firepower'. I always hear that its amazing.
I believe they split them 50/50. Downing appeared to be more of the technical type of player so I think Tipton may have performed the solos in 'The Rage'.
Amazing presentation, Matt! Cool solos! Kind regards. God bless.
Thank you so much, Nick and Sharon! I appreciate it a lot. Have a good day! 👍

Thank you for your feedback! I used to despise Telecasters decades ago but when I realized how incredible their tones are I was taken away by them. 👍🎸
Nice job! That tele sounds sweet.
Thanks, Earth FarFromNova! No other guitar has the same feel and vibe as a telecaster. 👍
Nice work on these solos! Need to listen to 'British Steel' now. Way overdue. 🤘
I was listening to Painkiller a day or so ago. Need to make British Steel one of the next ones. It never grows old! Thank you, Danny. 👍
Love these solos and your detailed breakdowns. 🤟
Thank you so much, Jenny! I appreciate it. 👍
Damn, lucky me. I was looking for a lesson on the outro solo. Thank you, Man!
Hi Rebel. Glad I was able to assist you with this. Have a great day and thanks for stopping by. ✌
Excellent! These solos in this are a great blend of a bluesy edge and hard rock. Starting on the first solo right after my comment. 👍🎸👍
I agree with you regarding the solos, Terrance! Definitely some great examples of bluesy/rock elements throughout. I hope you enjoy learning these solos. 👍
These solos are tight! Great instruction, sir! 🤘🎸
Hi Jean! Thank you so much and I agree. These solos are timeless and hold their own. 👍
Nice! One of the best Priest songs!

Its definitely an underrated song from their catalogue. Thank you for watching my video, Dynamic! ✌
What a catalogue this band has! I cannot think of a single album release that wasn't good from Priest.
Thank you, JackM! I think the 'Turbo' album may have been a low point but for the most part all of their other releases have a few great songs on each of them.
Ram it down 👎
Well done on these solos! ✌️
Thank you so much, Paul! I appreciate your support. 👍🎸
Fantastic🔥
Thank you so much, Antony! I appreciate it, my friend. 👍🎸
The tone of your telecaster really nails the tone of Priest!
Thank you, BMW! The telecaster is fantastic for bending notes. I was surprised at first how well its natural tone worked for a hard rock number.
Fantastic performance of this song! Thank you for your straight forward breakdown on how to play it.
Thank you very much, Kyle. Looking forward to more of your music.
The telecasters really do shine in a lot of genres. Hard rock is no exception! Great job! 🎸👍🎸
They certainly do! Thank you for the support. 👍🎸

Thank you so much, Demet! I greatly appreciate your support and kindness. 👍
This should be considered one of the top 10 of the Judas Priest catalog with Living After Midnight and Electric Eye. 🤘🤘
I feel its a contender for top 10, maybe top 20! Definitely a great one. Thank you, Miami! 👍
Man, that was a great lesson! And that tele also sounds sweet.
Thank you so much for the kind words, Ace! The tele too is definitely one of the best guitars for tone, even for hard rock!
An excellent tutorial, my friend! Love Judas Priest! 🤘
An excellent instruction for these solos! The telecaster sounds great too for the classic British rock tone. 👍
Judas Priest rocks and their guitarists defined shredding for many decades to come!
Thank you for sharing this, Brittany! I agree. Judas Priest was one of the pioneers of hard rock. I still need to listen to all of their latest album, 'Firepower'. I always hear that its amazing.

Damn. That is a great guitar tone. What amplifier?
Thank you for the feedback, Greg. I am using a Mesa Boogie Mark IV.
@@guitarwithmattpugliese Beyond my price range. Sounds great!
Never could tell if its Tipton or Downing playing these solos.
I believe they split them 50/50. Downing appeared to be more of the technical type of player so I think Tipton may have performed the solos in 'The Rage'.
@@guitarwithmattpugliese We may only know if they discuss it in a documentary. 👍
Another great sounding guitar! Well done.
Thanks, Aircraft TestPilot! I appreciate it. 👍
