As of the May 2nd patch, you now no longer can keep alac solo with staxe in a reasonable way (too much dps loss to go for the unreasonably high amount of extra required boon duration). However, it is still great for alacrity share, as the setup and rotation used in the video still keeps 70% alacrity uptime, making it a great option (you dont even need 2 staxes, can just use a condi renegade pressing untraited F4 off cd and keep alac). It will still be worth playing over focus offhand variant(s) on fights where confusion isn't as effective, when field pollution is a concern, or when you need the extra alac uptime this rotation provides vs ether focus variant.
the tiny bit lower confusion is due to me switching to 3 axe clones at the end (reason behind this is to compress damage, since staff clone ambushes apply condis with 16 sec duration which would not get fully utilized + extra mirrored axes trait procs this way)
otherwise it keeps 34 on average

why mirage need larger hitbox ?would small hitbox influence damage? because of combo confusion?

on small hitbox there is a chance that the phantasmal seeking axes you spawn via the mirrored axes trait will miss, that is why mirage is usually done on medium
