I wrote this after partially learning 'May you Never' by John Martyn...I never get very far into learning other people's songs as I always get distracted and go off at a tangent...still...some tangents make interesting diversions...

Aw thanks...what a lovely comment! Actually I think remember listening to your daughter singing - I thought she had a beautiful voice. The title just jumped out because this tune has that interesting quality of sounding nostalgic even when you've never heard it...I find that quality of music fascinating.
