got one too but can someone enlighten me on the use of the inputs and outputs... the outputs seem to come in pairs aka stereo or am i making some kind of thinking mistake here? i want to use it as a DJ set up in the effect loop. what really confuses me are also the input values of the rear input its +6 DB and the front is like 10mv - 3 volt (yes millivolt and volt noted in instruction manual) which doesnt make sense to me at all. do i need to adapt it for the full dj fun with this unit ?
Valentino Fleischpeitsche Hi! I’ve been using back side connectors. Mono in, stereo out. All line level. Most likely you’ll find good send levels from your mixet’s aux send by trying, so that you don’t get signal distorted.
@@heikkiwi great thank you i have the stereo / double mono jack outs on the rear. i think i need to consolidate the effect loop output jacks into one fake mono for the input on the rear of the VRS 23 for use in dj mixer set up right? you see problems ith that? many thanks for the answer already!!
@@heikkiwi yes, thank you, it seems the phasing is problematic with "fake mono" input. btw did you know only the reverb is a stereo output in the vrs 23 while the echo effect mode only produces a mono output? found this during my investigation...
Dynacord VRS 23 is beasty cool reverb !!!
thta's some great sounds!
RicardoDiLago Thanks! It’s very special unit!
heikkiwi Any hiss or hash sound coming from output jack???
Sebastian Oviedo sure! It’s old and analog! But quite quiet anyway.
The delay in it is bucketchain brigade, isn't it?
Yes it is!
and the reverb

Valentino Fleischpeitsche Using ”fake mono” could result some phase problems. I prefer true mono in that case when you are feeding signal to VRS-23.

Valentino Fleischpeitsche yep, there’s plenty of nice effects😎 mono&stereo!
I have vrs 23 but cant make it self oscilate like here, is this modded unit?
Dave Maverick Hi! Shouldn’t be modded. If i remember correctly i read from some forums that if the unit is ok it should self oscillate.
I read that there are 3 versions of it. One does, one doesn't, the third I am not sure.
