Dude it's a small block. Not a big block, it's pretty obvious with the distributor being at the back instead of the front like a big block, and any valve cover that says Mopar Magnum is a small block. It's just a big inch stroked out small block.
I know this is old asf but i just stumbled across this video and although i like the truck the numbers dont add up to me dodge Challenger demon has 840 hp running in the 9s, weight is nearly similar, you're in the 10s so im assuming you're probably around 650 whp, bro c'mon u got a 408 with some boost, no way thats a 440 ci small block even using a r3, u have eddy heads and a regular m1 those are 59* degree the r3 is 48 plus nobody would be using shitty magnum parts on a r3 block when w2, w5, w7, and w9 or brodix heads flow way better c'mon bro just tell the truth 😂😂😂 i give u a 0 outta 10
Dont hate the 440 but this would be way more impressive if it was a 360.

Hello yeah ... Mopar or no car
Would these mods from the end of the video work on a 5.9 360?
More than likely. It's just a stroked out small block
Yes but don't expect a stock cast block to hold very long. This is a siamese race block all aftermarket parts.
whats the engine set up?
Why does it take a 1000hp to go 10s in a ram? Weight?
Robert Ethan Welch Weight is killer
Cause these rams are built like a tank
@@obs.takuache9405 ... and that's why they're my only choice of truck.. I've had 4 Rams so far... & may get a newer one, sooner or later
It’s no 440 the distributor would be in the front of the engine
Probably a 5.9 Magnum stroked to a 408
@@thegreatamericanbakery1377 the build list is in the last few seconds of the vid......440ci small block
@@hoost3056 Either way, started as a 5.9 mag
.....Dodge never made a 440 in small block form
@@brandonrasmussen6692 Stroked 5.9 Magnum.
How do you like the Martin Saine valve body did you go with the tcc bypass?
Its in the last seconds of the video. Big, built stroker small block with a blower ( 440ci )
Ooooooooo baby that’s sweet sounding
