The church culture of Korea is not like the other countries. Affected by the governance and culture reasons, there are real church only for worship, but many church is not only for worship but for many other things that are less related to Christ and the church may regard as heresy by other people. And the netizens may use this to attack the K-pop idol, maybe this is the reason why K-pop idols less likely worship like Siwon or show how they worship.

I did prayed last year (2020) that Siwon Choi will use His God given talent(s) to God’s ministry/work. Now, when I saw and listened to this video, I was amazed at how the Lord answered my prayer. I don't understand why you are all so surprised with Siwon. He has always has a strong faith in GOD and has displayed is quite often before this. Yeah as he always shows his Christian faith even the first time he has started to use Instagram, he posted a lot about his love to Jesus as a Christian :)
I think he had a "born again Christian moment":) He was raised and educated on his faith but probably had a personal encounter with God recently. Maybe he got distracted with all the worldly things his celebrity life had to offer but is now more than ever focused on his faith.

I just love how worship is worship no matter what language it’s in. You can still feel the Holy Spirit through the lyrics. It’s so nice seeing Siwon worship like this. It’s also nice to see people who love Jesus all around the world and not just where I live. I’m so grateful to God that I live in a time where I’m able to see His name being glorified all across the earth. It gives me so much hope
