Hi Jennifer, I hope you are feeling better! I enjoyed the discussion about these lipsticks and comparisons to slim lipsticks in other brands. These lipsticks are the type of product that I would make a note about and then buy at a discount at the Cosmetics Company Store. Before the pandemic, I could count on most TF products eventually being there but that is not the case today. I am currently using up my TF Boys and Girls lipsticks as they have not gone over yet. I'll pick up a TF slim to try during an upcoming sale. I enjoy trying new formulas while also finishing lipsticks in favourite shades.
I hear you on the use up-ability because that's how I felt about Boys & Girls. These are a lot more for small pleasures though, and I already feel like the L'Extraits are a ripoff, so they're a skip for me. They are very pretty though. I have West Coast from the new lipsticks and was considering 100 in the slim lipstick, but I’m nervous they are similar colors - do you think they are? If so I’ll try to find another color, I just don’t want anything too warm/brown. Thanks!
It’s funny, when the Chanel L’Extraits came out everyone was giving the product a ding for the small weight. Meanwhile, like you I will most likely not finish most lipsticks before they go bad or start to smell strange. Enjoy them!!
Jen, you can get just as much product in a lipstick sample! I actually love the samples due to my very narrow lips and they are the perfect size for me, so I understand what you're saying. I'm just bewildered that they aren't refillable, especially at that price. All of the shades appealed to me, yet I won't pay full-price for Tom Ford nor can I wear a product that bleeds. As I have lost weight over the last five years, which I couldn't afford to loose in the first place, my face isn't as plump as it was, therefore causing lipsticks etc. to bleed even when using liner, primer and a wax invisible liner! I understand that you're not well Jen and you should have stayed in bed like I did myself today, yet in future, can you please use metric weights as well as ounces? The USA is amongst only three countries in the entire world to not use metric, alongside Liberia and Burma (Myanmar). I was totally lost as you used ounces throughout the entire video. It would be helpful for all of us from outside of the US. I'm never going to tell anyone what they should or should not buy. If these lipsticks make you happy and bring you that little extra something that other lipsticks don't, then go for your life and enjoy. Just don't forget that those sample lipsticks are really great to throw in your handbag etc. and hardly take up any room at all. Best of all they're free. I've been gifted quite a number of them and was using one from Givenchy only yesterday. Just a thought. I counted my lipsticks the other day and frightened myself into not even thinking of getting another as there were so many! Please rest up and don't feel you have to create video's when not well - we understand.🇦🇺💖👩🏼🎨

Unless there is a gemstone hidden inside, TF is not worth that much, nor is it that much better than every other lipstick. It's more of a status symbol than anything else. I'm happy with my samples!💖
dude...the internet can tell you the conversions, type in "0.31 ounces is how many grams" Answer: 8g. 🙄 You can also multiply, Y ounces x 28.34952312 g/oz, or just for short 28/3 = ~8 the ounces cancel out. FYI, the Tom Ford site doesn't even tell you the amount of product in their own listing. Also, the US uses what it uses, and many times products are labeled for US customers without metric conversions. But luckily, that's what the internet is for! Thank you to AllFeisty for the review.

The entire shade range and or collection are LE? What exactly is TF doing. The two recent quads are also limited & they discontinued a couple of their foundations w rumors they are repackaging? I get the feel that in light of sourcing & production prices increasing, that TF isn’t making ‘enough’ of a profit & they are making changes in the wrong direction (in my opinion) to compensate for this. But it seems that is the trend for many luxury cosmetic companies. It honestly makes me happy that I was a late bloomer to cosmetics. With the exception of my Chantecaille mascara, hourglass liner, my Maybelline concealer, clear brow gel and a brown powder for my brows…I can do without these new releases. So sorry for the soapbox but the cost of this lip product is insanity. And that’s coming from someone that buys a $76 mascara😂. I hope you feel better soon!❤
Thankfully all the shades are too warm for me & I can't stand bleeding lipsticks. The packaging is very chic though so I can appreciate the appeal & the slim bullet will be great for small lips but I'm saving my $$$ this time.
This is the ONLY time when having a small mouth is good !!! It takes me Sooooo long to finish a lipstick ! lol I would not buy them as I do not like the long packaging . I hope you are feeling better !

It's crazy how little you get. I know normal lipsticks last a long while but these are so tiny I think you will use them up in HALF a year if you just use it once a week. I do pan lip products and I don't see these lasting any longer 🤔at which point I think a lot of people will question if that's worth it. If you use it every day.... 2 months tops maybe less

The free sample lipsticks I have contain more product than the Tom Ford 😂it's that bad a value for money

I love the tom ford formula, the lip shine and lip color, but what a con job. Not happening, I'm not stupid, lol.
