Any clarity on ODI rejig will be post CT 25 if we donot get into finals or if Ro_Ko retire before 2027 ,2027 is too far ahead , Kohli and Rohit are clear headed individuals ,you cant be top players without clarity, either they will play 27 or leave post 2025 CT, that pretty much opens up the "opening slot" and middle order Rituraj and Abhishek will get in if Parag doesnt perform, his domestic records for Assam was fantastic therefore he is picked, 2 games too low no to judge , post 10-15 games we can make any decision. These are fluid situation. ODI is selected based on Domestic records for new players, I rate Abhishek Sharma as the most naturally gifted player India has even over YBJ has more time to play at will ,he looks straight out of "Brian Lara/ Yuvi" school of batting beautiful swing effortless.

I think Rohit will most certainly quit ODIs after CT2025, and maybe bid goodbye to international cricket after WTCFINAL2025. We mustn't forget that he is playing since 2007 till almost upcoming 2025 year, which is 18-19 years in 3 different formats, albeit with injury phases of his. That's equivalent to playing 24 years in 2 longer formats like Sachin, I feel 🤯🥵🙄😊☺️
And Riyan may be a good player. But he has been backed in RR despite many failed seasons, only because of his relative Ranjit Barthakur who is the RR owner, that's why he is proven lobby. Let's see what he does now 🙁☹️😊
