Ruth 3-4 - Skip Heitzig

The story of Boaz the redeemer echoes the redemption story of mankind. The book of Ruth shows us that we can rest in God's providence and the knowledge that our redemption is His alone to fulfill. We are so precious to Jesus that He would pay the ultimate price for our redemption.

I didn’t understand these chapters. I knew I couldn’t move on to 1st Samuel until I did. I thought of Skip and You-tube. Now after listening to his Bible study I now understand and can move on in my effort yo understand God’s Word. What a blessing this has been and I thank you you Pastor Hertzig.

I love the book of Ruth, it was one of my classes in Bible college many years ago and I aced that class, but I understand it so much better now all these years later and pastor skip did a great job of explaining everything in detail. Thank you Jesus for being our kinsman, redeemer, and for paying the ultimate price for the treasure, which is your bride we praise you and give you thanks for all that you have done and for all that you are continuing to do in this through us bias and amongst us amen

Thanks Pastor Skip - it’s awe inspiring just to get a glimpse of God’s providence and His supernatural “working behind the scenes” to accomplish His purposes like we see in Ruth - whose marriage to Boaz leads to King David and later to Christ Himself - the Bread of Life - being born in Bethlehem - the “house of bread”. At the same time, one wonders why some lives are woven into ruin. I think of children being born into abusive families or having a mother lose her children on account of “worthless fellows”. Oh Lord only Thou knowest….God bless.
