Felt so emotional watching y’all play that piano. You’ve been handed your fair share of trials over the years but even if you hadn’t, all these blessings are so deserved and it’s so wonderful to see you enjoying them 💗 I know you’ll make years and years of memories around that beautiful piano just as the family before you did 💗
God is SO good in the hard times and the good. ♥️ if we never went through the struggles the good times might be a bit less sweet. Looking back on what God has brought us through helps us be thankful for what we have now!
YES! This was my thought too. Especially since the door opens toward the corner- much better fit for getting ready to go outside. If the cabinet didn't fit on the wall the door is on, I'd turn it and use the perpendicular wall and the coat rack could be on the wall by the door... Of course it *looks* nice where it is, but would function better in that corner. The mirror idea can work without it being a "get ready" spot- mirrors are just nice decor ;)
Maybe even use one of the ikea bench/cabinet units that have the baskets like you do for homeschooling to hold mittens and hats, the backpacks can be placed in cubbies or on hooks above the idea cabinet unit. Keep the mirror behind the fridge tho, love that!
I think Weston's idea for the placement of the shoe rack makes more functional sense. I would do that BUT I would also put a small table and mirror where you wanted. So do both!
I thought this too!! The more mirrors, the better. They open everything up and reflect light so you should never feel like you can only do one spot for a mirror.
Natalie, I have to admit I’ve been having a hard time battling with a lot of fear, disappointments & frustration lately but watching these videos about your new chapter in life has been uplifting, I think largely due to your attitude of gratitude. So I have to say “thank you” for how you express so much thankfulness for the gifts God is giving you right now -including that beautiful piano! I was so, so happy for you when I saw that! 😊 I hope you share some more beautiful hymns with us once you get it tuned, like maybe doing a Christmas “jam session”?
I would go with Weston version of shoe cabinet, because your version you would have to close the door and go behind. I think Westins’s version would be more functional
I cried watching you play the Doxology. We serve a good God and it filled my heart to see the gratitude and worship you live out in the big and the small things!
I haven't even finished watching this, but I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the praise you give God for answered prayers! The first song you chose to play on your piano gave me the chills! I believe God loves to give us our hearts' desires. Blessings to you & yours!
I have to say, I see a lot of ok youtubers(wich I like and follow) that casually purchase a new house after a while, it's practically a routine from what I've see. I'm glad for their succes, really. But you took your time with it and you have such pure joy and, also, a humble attitude about all of it (like I would) wich totally makes me say: Yaay, Natalie, good for you, enjoy your beautiful home! You really deserve all this fine things coming your way! 🤗 The house is so cool and cozy and fitted for you, guys! ❤️
Natalie, I like the Weston idea better because it won't interrupt walkway. Put a tall plant in a pretty textured pot on that wall.he piano is gorgeous and you play beautifully.♡🎹♡
Hi Natalie, I love your New home & that piano is awesome! We got a piano 5 yrs ago a vintage upright piano for free but we had to pay someone to get it out of our neighbor's basement & bring over next door to our living room. It's in pretty good condition. There's a couple keys need redone & there Ivory. Won't get that done right away. But did get it turned. It sounds great! It says a date inside turning before 1952 I think. I looked up it says around late 1800's. I'll put pics in. You're a special person! Love your videos. Thanks 😊
I lived with my grandmother my senior year of high school. Every morning at 6 o’clock she would play all gospel hymns until 6:30 AM on her Vintage upright piano. The doxology was one of the hymns. Hearing you play that on your piano brought tears of joy to my eyes and heart! I still have the piano and have tried to teach myself to play…thank you for glorifying our Father in heaven with your life and gifts.
If it were my house, I’d have a bench to sit on (on the side Weston chose). This way as kids are filing into the house and the door may not be shut yet, kids can start taking their shoes off by sitting on the bench. Then put your coat rack above the bench and maybe even a shelf above the coat rack with bins for hats, gloves and scarves. Or you could have baskets underneath the bench for hats and gloves or even extra shoes. We don’t have an entry closet in our house either and this has been my favorite set up. LOVE seeing all of your updates! I had a lump in my throat when you were playing the piano- indeed praise the Father, Son and Holy Ghost!!! What an AWESOME piano story! Such a God thing! I’ve enjoyed watching your move-in/settling in process. It brings back such good memories of when we found our first house when our kids were little!
We, also, were blessed with a free piano a few years back. As much as I love it and am grateful that I didn’t have to drop a dime on it, I am saddened by what that says about our society. Learning to play an instrument is becoming so undervalued. Thank you for keeping it alive in your home! Praise God from Whom All Blessings Flow! Your playing touched my heart
Weston's idea is more functional. On the backside of the fridge I would personally go with a Jonna Jinton photo. Her skills with the camera is amazing, and the colors would fit the palette in your house🙂 Absolutely love what you have done to the place already ❤
Love how you not ashamed of your love for Jesus🙏 praising him through it all 🙏 got literal goosebumps listening to you play… Praise God from whom all blessings flow ❤️🙏
I would do the Westin version since when you open the door the shoe cabinet would be in front of you instead of having to walk to the back of the door to get to the other wall.
Yes, this was my thought as well. We have an entrance closet behind our front door when it opens and it is the most frustrating thing sometimes because the kids come it, start taking their shoes off before everyone is through the door, and then are off running before the door is closed and you can get into the closet.
Shoes on Weston side & mirror on Natalie side. No reason you can’t have a mirror alone on a wall 🙃 I would also consider moving the coat rack to the other side too. Home is looking lovely! Can’t wait to see more.
I agree. Coat rack is more practical on the side that the door opens. Same about the shoe cabinet. I would put a full body size mirror behind the fridge.
When you said free, I SCREAMED!!! LOL OH.....MY........GOODNESS!!!!! What a lovely gift!! God is most awesome with his gifts and blessings!! Good to hear your praises of Him! I know you are sincere, I have watched you for a long time!
I have always loved your channel, but I just had to tell you it’s so wonderful to see you openly giving glory and thanks to God. I love how honest you are about your faith in a time where it can be considered “taboo”. It’s very uplifting! I’m so happy for your family and we are enjoying following along your new journey. May God continue to bring you many blessings! ❤️
Natalie, how blessed you are! I too have a very, very old piano. Mine is solid oak and around 110 years old now. They don't make them like they used to and you definitely made the right call to have someone move it for you! I love your grateful heart! What a precious family you have! Congratulations on the "new" house and beautiful 5 acres! 🥰
Nice hearing you play the church music! It would be nice to hear a hymn sometimes during your videos. Nature and music is so relaxing to see and hear. Looking forward to seeing how you make your new house a home! So happy for your family!
Beautiful piano! I don't play mine very often but you made me want to sit down today. AND the hymn you played ...my dad's parents (my grandmother was one of the first women who graduated from Moody Bible College in 1935. ) always sang the meal prayer with words to this..Be present at our table, Lord. Be here and everywhere adored. These mercies bless and grant that we, May feast in Paradise with thee." Sure took me back!!!
When you showed the house originally, I envisioned a coat closet/shoe rack where Weston suggested. That's where the door opens. This is coming from someone who has no choice but to have theirs BEHIND the door, and when people are taking off shoes/coats behind the door, other people are hitting them with the door. You could make the refrigerator wall pretty with a mirror and maybe an entry table that looks nice. Or a bookshelf on the wall behind the door?
Wonderful! We bought our first home, our dream home, and semi homestead, 10+ acres that back up to 200 acres we have use of. It 's so heartwarming seeing it all come together. I love setting up my home, and seeing my 3 year old be so at home, she automatically picked blueberries when we pulled in after signing the papers, and did so every morning for blueberry pancakes which we ate outside on our deck over looking the Vermont mountains we see! We would love a upright, they are all free here too as long as you move it yourself. Can't wait to settle on one. Congrats!!!
There is something so satisfying about new appliances. 2 years ago we replaced every single on in our home as well. Stove, fridge, dishwasher, washer, dryer and micro. It was like having and extra Birthday here. Love all the Newness and fresh starts
I'm a childfree, atheist woman, so we don't share some views - regardless of our differences, I absolutely adore your channel 😍 I love how much you care for your family, your creativity, adorable humor and your persona all together :) Thank you so much for sharing your life with us :)
Wow the house is really coming along,it’s nice that Weston is so handy. You play so beautifully Natalie,it will be lovely at Christmas to have everyone gathered around singing Christmas carols xxx.
I have tears in my eyes watching you play that piano 😭 such a beautiful piece for a woman who is beautiful inside and out. So many good memories will be had as you teach your children!! 💗💗💗
Yay love a Natalie Bennett premier! Such a gift on a Monday morning 🙏🏽I tend to be a "yes and" kinda gal, so I would do the Westin version of the shoe cabinet, and hang the mirror where you want to with either a floating shelf or a narrow console table so it's not obstructing the flow into the rest of the house. So happy for you guys in your new digs!
Got chills when you played the Doxology. My first piano was a vintage painted orange upright. Was painted when we got it more than 30 years ago. I miss that ole gal. Always enjoy your videos!
My fiancé has a massive and very heavy Wellington upright grand piano from the 1920s. It’s been in his family for a couple generations now. It’s in amazing condition. 😁 He build a team of friends to help move it into our old house (which included stairs) and he gave himself a hernia. We just moved again last April and he had it professionally moved and tuned and it was so easy! His piano is a prize possession to him! 💕
I think a full length mirror on the fridge wall would be lovely, & the shoe cabinet back in the corner will be much more practical over time. OR…if you leave the shoe cabinet where it is, a bench in the corner would also be really nice. Lots of possibilities! Maybe one of those things you feel out more as you live in the space. 🙂
Hailey’s little interpretive dance while you played is everything 😂 I remember leaping around the living room while my own mother played “Are you washed in the blood of the lamb?”
When you played the piano it brought tears to my eyes. It was so lovely and such a beautiful way to honor the lady who owned it befor you . Lots of love from Sweden!
I felt like i grieved a little when you moved out of your old house. So many memories. Now i am overjoyed to see you settling into your new surroundings! I keep thinking of the scripture" whoever is faithful with very little will also be faithful with much" luke 16:10
I have seen your videos in my feed, and I have always enjoyed them, but not until you and your hubby had Saturday morning coffee date together did I sub… my husband and I are now retired and we have our coffee together every morning in our sunroom…. 😀 Love the house, and love all your touches your doing… Enjoy your new home, wonderful how you thank the Lord during the good times and blessings. I always try to give thanks for the good days🙏❤️
I got a free Everett piano. I love it so much. Our neighbor was moving and just asked me if I wanted it. God answered my prayer. I grew up with a playing piano in our house and I wanted my kids to enjoy one too. I love how your house is becoming your own.
I love your attitude of gratitude, especially when that piano arrived! I almost cried! I didn’t know you played and to have a vintage, upright grand piano 🎹 is one of my dreams, too!
I would use Weston’s idea for shoes, keys etc. & put a mirror on the back of the fridge wall like you wanted with a thin “sofa table” under the mirror!
Seeing your joy of having this piano and hearing you play on it, it made me to cry. Absolutely beautiful music and piano. And you all are beautiful and kind people over all.❤😻❤😻❤
I would also go with Weston's idea on the shoe cabinet (or maybe actually an armoire for coats and shoe storage). That way, much less dirt gets into the rest of the house. The way the door opens you enter, turn left and can take your shoes off. For your idea you have to go around the door which is more inconvenient. (If you are a household that takes off their shoes). In my country socks or slippers are the norm indoors and it just keeps the place a bit cleaner. Would recommend a nice wide doormat/rug that you can vacuum and that is right under the door and shoe cabinet area. I'm sure you will find a nice family photo or something else for the fridge wall as others have suggested as well
Natalie, I really needed this video this morning. God is so good. His blessings just keep on flowing for his people. You and your family are such a blessing to me. Thank you so much for sharing. Piano is beautiful and your house is ready becoming a home with each little detail. God bless you and your family. ❤️❤️ You are so right. All praises belong to God.
Natalie this video is so beautiful! The colors, the music and just your joy jumps off the screen! I love your heart for the Lord and I’m so happy to see how’s he is abundantly blessing you 🥰 I am so thankful for your content.
God definitely is good!!! What a blessing with the piano! Please don't stress to get your house perfect before the holidays, just being together in your new home will make it perfect! We moved over 3 years ago and continue to do projects here and there :)
I am loving all the new updates!! That piano is exquisite! I love the pull from Kimberly Whisk!😂 Thank you for respecting your children and their decisions. I think it is important for parents to do that and in return the parents get the same trust, respect and understanding from their kids. You are teaching them healthy boundaries early and that is extremely important for when they become adults and start to interact with the world around them. I am so happy for you all and all the blessings that keep coming your way. God is good all the time! I am looking forward to more uploads/ updates! Thank you for being you! Much love!💖
Rejoicing with you for all the great things God is doing for you and your family! The piano is AMAZING & absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Loved hearing you play! Your family and home are so beautiful! Thank you for sharing your life and being a bright light shining for Jesus in this world! Blessings, Peace & Love! ❤️
Just wow! Gotta give God all the praise for the blessings He has been pouring out on your family. It is so cool to see how he gives his children the desires of their hearts even to the little details. Makes my heart so happy for you! You are and have been such an inspiration in my life for the last few years, so thank you so much for sharing 💗
My heart swells for your family!! Congratulations on the house ❤️ I got so emotional when you played on the piano and saw all the kids around you. Such a beautiful family, and such lovely parents filling their home with love and raising up such happy kids!! Bless you and your family! Sending so much love and prayers your way ❤️
Love love love today’s video! The kids behind the truck totally brought me back to the days I would visit the family farm in Washington growing up. Also, can’t decide which version I love more… your doxology or the the one played at the end. Love it all so much! Thank you for giving God all the glory. He is so good!!!
I'm so happy for you and your family! All of my favorite vloggers have new beginnings in different homes🏠. So excited for your new journey and more vlogs to come.😊🏡
I love watching y’all enjoy your new house! I just love your gratitude for all your new blessings.❤️❤️❤️❤️ I have been wanting to get some picture frames like the ones you put up! They are so cute❣️
The fact that the piano fits PERFECTLY under the pictures that you hung just shows that it was meant to be! I’m so happy for you and your family, you guys truly deserve this ❤️
I thought the shoe shelf should go on the other wall.... but.... I really like how it ended up, and the black color too!!! Now.... the piano! I actually had tears! I have an 'upright Grand Piano" as well, mine is an Everett, 1976 and it is definitely my baby!!! I am SO happy you have this now!!!
A lot is going on in my life right now with lots of fear and disappointments but watching your video is uplifting. I should remember to be more grateful for the things we have and work on the things we don’t with a positive attitude. Thanks very much for your wonderful videos 😍🥰 Bless you and your lovely family
I agree with westons idea on the side by the door opening.u can still put a mirror on the refrig wall with a shelf under it..Natalie,I have gone back to u playing 4 times..u play beautifully..do u play in church? What a amazing gift u recieved in that piano .God is all over your journey for sure..I hope u play in more of your videos!!!!I loove your new appliances..I love your home!!
Awww wow when you started playing that hymn it brought me right back to my childhood Christian summer camp. Thank you for being such an authentic light on this platform! I’d love to hear more piano!
I just wanted to let you know that I had been feeling kind of down and your vlog was really encouraging and made me think of all that God has done for me and my family. God is in control and really does give so much more than we ever deserve. Thank you!!!
i also go with Westons idea. When you open the door, that's the most logical place to put everything otherwise you have to walk "behind" de door (kinda) . But you can always put a mirror on that other wall. :-)
Your piano is so beautiful in looks and sound and you play beautifully! Congrats on getting so much done so quickly while living, working, and homeschooling with kids! Would love a trail adventure video by anyone who is willing to make one down your newly uncovered trail to the ravine.
I totally get how you feel, God is so good to us and gives us so many blessings! Your story reminded me of mine :) For 7 years I prayed for a house that had a bathtub and A/C in the bedroom and livingroom. I was praying for a miracle because we thought the Lord wanted us in the Dominican Republic. (We are missionaries.) About a month before we were planning on leaving the Lord closed the door to the DR and we were devistated. Little did we know that he had so much better plans for us than what we had planned for ourselves. The Lord led us to stay in our home state and gave us a brick 4 bedroom house on five acres with a bathroom that had a bathtub but no shower :) (We installed one 3 years later) and window units is the livingroom and bedrooms. I thought u might get a kick out of this story. God is good all the time. All the time God is good. He is worthy! Amen!
Amen❤
Westons idea with Natalie’s mirror idea behind the fridge. Do a full length mirror with a snake plant! Quick outfit check before leaving the house!
Exactly The same thought. Without even reading your comment.
This is what I thought too! Then the shoe cabinet can go on the adjacent wall.
Agree. Or a beautiful large family photo on the back of the fridge wall. Would be nice to have in the entry and pass by everyday on the way in.
So do both!
Agree 💯🥰
Yes!!
Yep. This.
Lisashares, that's what I was going to say in my comment! We both think alike. :)
I thought this too!! The more mirrors, the better. They open everything up and reflect light so you should never feel like you can only do one spot for a mirror.
The former owner of the piano will be so grateful that her piano went to someone that truly appreciates it🥰
Omgosh I just broke out in tears when you played.... what a blessing
Me too!
@@Savingmomma me 3!!!! It was so beautiful!!!!
Me too!! I thought I was the only one that got emotional hearing her play!
That’s too bad. I hope you feel better!
Natalie, I have to admit I’ve been having a hard time battling with a lot of fear, disappointments & frustration lately but watching these videos about your new chapter in life has been uplifting, I think largely due to your attitude of gratitude. Yes, please! A Christmas piano jam session for sure! :)
I would go with Weston version of shoe cabinet, because your version you would have to close the door and go behind. I think Westins’s version would be more functional

These are literally the only premiers I do on UA-cam 😂❤ so motivating for the rest of the day!!
I would 100% recommend getting a foil liner for the bottom of your oven, it really helps with keeping the mess down and making clean up easier

We just moved again last April and he had it professionally moved and tuned and it was so easy! His piano is a prize possession to him! 💕
I'm crying over your happiness with the piano. It's gorgeous. And beautiful hymn.
I would go with Weston’s idea bc of the directions that the door opens.
Love the house, and love all your touches your doing…
Enjoy your new home, wonderful how you thank the Lord during the good times and blessings. I always try to give thanks for the good days🙏❤️
Your enthusiasm in this video is so infectious ! I'm so happy for you . ☺️
I got emotional when you started playing the piano! I just knew how happy you were 💜
I got a free Everett piano. I love it so much. Our neighbor was moving and just asked me if I wanted it. God answered my prayer. I grew up with a playing piano in our house and I wanted my kids to enjoy one too. I love how your house is becoming your own.
I love the worship music at the end! ❤️
Watching the kids enjoy the music, so precious
I love love love how you are praising God and not afraid! May God bless your family abundantly!💗🙏🏼💗
Natalie, when you started playing the Doxology in your new/old piano, I got emotional. It sounds so beautiful! Enjoy it!
That piano 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 what a wonderful gift from God
I would do Westons idea for the shoes but a little table with the mirror above it in the spot you mentioned would be pretty
Those lights make it so much brighter and the cabinet looks much better in black… that piano is gorgeous 🙌🏻
Seeing your joy of having this piano and hearing you play on it, it made me to cry. Absolutely beautiful music and piano. And you all are beautiful and kind people over all.❤😻❤😻❤
I am so happy to have found your channel. You are a light for the Lord, I can’t wait to see how you transform you beautiful home. God is so so good!
I'm sure you will find a nice family photo or something else for the fridge wall as others have suggested as well
Do a little bench with a mirror on Natalie’s side and then use the shoe organizer on Weston’s side!
That hymn on that beautiful piano…definitely praise Him!
So excited for you and praising God for his abundant blessings! Your piano is gorgeous! Beautiful blessings!
God definitely is good!!! What a blessing with the piano! Please don't stress to get your house perfect before the holidays, just being together in your new home will make it perfect! We moved over 3 years ago and continue to do projects here and there :)
I loved hearing you play the Doxology on the piano! Gave me chills 💕
I was watching this with my 4 month old and he smiles and babbles every time you smile at the camera. It’s the sweetest thing.
Yes, He is always in the details. That is so cool Natalie! I love that you always give Him the glory, and you dedicated the first song to him. :)
Thanks so much guys 💛🙏 been accompanying me as I work through all my stuff, such good motivation :)
Awww!!!! The piano history gave me the chills literally!!! And I can't believe the price?!?! How amazing!!!!!!
This was a great video! I enjoyed it so much! You are so blessed to be blessed by the Almighty! How wonderful!! 🙌🙌🙌 All the glory to Him!! ♥️
I may have shed a little tear when you started to
play the piano 🎹.
I love when God does little things just to say I love you.
You have a boatload of comments and may never see this. But thank you for always giving God the glory 🙌❤
Natalie, your channel inspires me so much! ❤️ SO thankful to have you in this space!🥰
Omg! I teared up with you playing that piano… love that song… 😘 praise god… xx
i also go with Westons idea.
Not me tearing up after you played your piano for the first time? You just looked so happy I couldn’t help myself. It’s beautiful 🤍
I totally get how you feel, God is so good to us and gives us so many blessings! Your story reminded me of mine :) For 7 years I prayed for a house that had a bathtub and
A/C in the bedroom and livingroom. Amen!
On day 6 in hospital right now which is now night 6 away from hubby and our 3 babies and this has lifted me mood considerably! Thank you for sharing!
