I am new here in BC too. And an international student as well. this pandemic makes me realize my mistake of not getting a part-time job right away when I started school, I wasted my 20 hours per week for a year.
Done with my theory classes and now just waiting for my practicum to resume. And hoping to find a job too

Hello - yeah the PR rules in Atlantic is more lenient, but I didn't regret anything here in BC though, got the ITA now for PR so all good! :) I guess, go to a place where you can get a fulltime job right away! - because that's the main requirement for PR. They said, you should stay in that province for atleast 3 yrs where you got nominated, but some said you can move whenever you want, but for me I will stay in that province for sometime so the PNP program will be successful and more and more people will benefit from it. :)

Hi Ms. Mc can you share some tips about looking for part time jobs for international students 😊. I might be studying in Niagara by 2021 and I'm a bit worried about looking for a part time job. Also, can I apply a prt time job in offices? since I have experience here in the Philippines as HR. I hope you can help me with my questions, thank you 😊

Yes there are office jobs too.
I am sure you find some part time work in Niagara, there are lots of businesses and a tourist industry as well.
