I am always at aww watching you making beautiful beadwork! Always giving us great info and tips!!!! Your a amazing teaching thank you so much for making us all better beads!!! Hugs Liz ❤
I enjoy beading. One of my best friends really enjoys you. As I began to watch your videos and You Tube I began to understand why. I don't usually put comments of this type out in cyberspace. However you are incredibly awesome. Your personality is delightful and you make it so easy to understand the lessons. Thank you for being a great mentor.
Jill you are a fabulous beader, thank you for sharing your talent with the public. You and Bronzepony are my favorite teachers on the web. God Bless You and have a happy, healthy New Year.
I am hooked on your videos! I want to make a dozen of everything you make. They make my imagination run wild. Thank you for your clear, concise instructions and your great inspiration. Keep on sending out the wonderful videos. Love from Alabama.
I just made this. What a thread hog. I bet I used 20'. It's the first time I've used a peyote toggle. I'll incorporate that more often. I loved it. When I started I didn't have enough of one color 6mm except for a multicolored strand I bought so I used it with a variegated blue seed bead. I liked it okay, but when I went to stitch the last row with the 3mm bead in the center I used a package of multicolored 6o seed beads. It took the bracelet from okay to wow. Thanks for a great tutorial. I wish I could upload it. The multicolor and the 6o seed beads took it from more dressy bracelet to something to wear with a pair of jeans and anything else because it had all the colors. Thanks again. Your awesome!!
You Right Jill!! The info is red hot...love it!! Just completed this project it it Beautiful, Thanks to you!! May have to go ahead and buy this one to keep handy in my files. Thank you so...much!!
Good morning Jill! I love your videos! You are clear, concise, and go at a speed that even I can follow...lol! :-) also, you are very charming...doesn't hurt... :-)
mindy childs Yes - this is a project I had originally done with Beaducation - I just did another version for my own UA-cam channel with their blessing. I'm so glad you went full-on fluffy! Enjoy!
wonder how it would look with a double row of the center fire polish beads (i love wide cuff style bracelets) ... i might have to try it and see... thanks for the great video Jill!
Hi Jill, I made the first one you made a video of and love it then and love this one too. May I ask if some time this year we could do a bracelet or earrings, may be both, in Herringbone stitch. I love this graceful stitch. It has a wonderful drape to it and next to RAW is one of my favourite stitches. Chris from OZ.
wouldnt it be awesome to have an army of minions making me all these beautiful bracelets?? hahaha thanks for sharing your work and teaching how to do these beautiful creations
@Joy Bernhardt I was thinking the very same thing! (Great minds.... ;-) If the 11/0 beads loops create a gap between the 6mm CFPs, maybe 15/0 or mix of 15/0 & 11/0 would work. I may play with that idea :-)
Hi Jill. I am fairly new to beading. I have been trying to make this bracelet, but I can't seem to get passed the ladder stitching of the firepolish beads. When I finish instead of the holes top and bottom, they end up on their ends. I also have too much thread between the beads. I don't think the seed beads would cover it up. I have tried manipulating the beads so they are standing the way they are supposed to but then everything seems to loosen up. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong? I'm sure I probably just need to keep practicing using the ladder stitch with the firepolish beads. Maybe I should make a Barbie bracelet first :) I love your videos and projects. Thank you!
Hi Jill, I have been watching your video for years. I love you personally . You are a great teacher. I love watching your video they are very inspirational. Can you advise on the best place to get your beads and seed beads.
Chalmin Ann Honestly, I'm not sure. It may work out perfectly, but the until I've done it using them I'm hesitant to say for sure. Try it! Worst that could happen is it turns out funky, right? :-)
Hello Jill - hope you're well. May I ask a question please? I love the Ogalala necklace in your book but t looks a little different to this video.......the text mentions 'stacking them up'. What is the extra step please? Just working on the double spiral......love it. Laney from the uk>
Dear Jill- beautiful work and techniques, I really appreciated the video tutorial. One question- are you using a thin metal wire ( what size?) or a regular cotton thread? I could not make out which one of those was used by you throughout the whole video. Also can this be done with the stretchy synthetic thread?- I have seen those being sold on ebay and I would think for a bracelet they are the best way to go. I would appreciate hearing from you. Thank you. Marian
+Marian Paronyan - I mainly use 6lb Fireline. Beading thread like Nymo, C-Lon, One G, etc. can also be used. I never recommend stretchy thread because over time the "stretch" will permanently loosen and the project will be destroyed.
Thank you, dear. I was wondering about the stretchy kind, because I bought one on Ebay 2 years ago and never used it. But Fireline 6 lb is a perfect solution. keep those great videos coming! Thank you.
HoneyStace Exactly what Lori Finney said - if you go download the free pdf from my website (link in the comments) it will detail all the beads and sizes and quantities. Enjoy!
Hi Jill, I'm new a beading (I'm a wire wrapper :) and I was turned on to your channel by my wonderful beading group on Facebook. I'm wondering the size of the beads you use in your videos. Sometimes they are missed, like this one, what size fire polish are you using? Looks like 6mm to me...idk. Could you let us know. Thanks darling!!
+Queen Laamiri Some of the project have paid PDF patterns that fill in the omitted information - this happens to be one of them. Many are free, but not all.
I have gone crazy making these that I ordered some more beads from you this week. :). I just love it and i dont feel im broke after making one. I have a question. If I wanted to sell any Ogalala online anywhere after making one, what is expected of me as the seller? Its your pattern and I'm beginning and its my first year at this. I just wouldn't want to list it improperly. I hope that makes sense. Love your weekly videos :)
By far Jill is the best educator on UA-cam in my opinion.
I am a Calculus teacher. I often wear many of your designs to my classes, so I can definitely say that my Math classes sparkle!

i like this project :)

thanks for sharing your work and teaching how to do these beautiful creations
Couldn't you put the 3 seed beads when you are doing the ladder stitch so the thread doesn't show?
Joy Bernhardt I've done it that way too, but it makes the space between the bigger beads a little too big.
@Joy Bernhardt I was thinking the very same thing! (Great minds.... ;-) If the 11/0 beads loops create a gap between the 6mm CFPs, maybe 15/0 or mix of 15/0 & 11/0 would work. I may play with that idea :-)

Hi, Jill. Question. Which is the Ogalala stitch . . . . the waves? Thanks, Bobbie in Miami.
MetalGrannie Yes! One line of the waves is normally what you see with Ogalala stitch.
Hi Jill, love your videos....small question...can I use Tila beads instead of the fire polished cristals? Thanks in advance for your help.
Chalmin Ann Honestly, I'm not sure. It may work out perfectly, but the until I've done it using them I'm hesitant to say for sure. Try it! Worst that could happen is it turns out funky, right? :-)

Muy lindo su trabajo. Me podría decir el tamaño de las piedras y que clase de hilo usa.? Gracias.
Also, would you please show the ogalala necklace closer so I can see it? Please and thank you :-)
are all fire polished beads the same size?
I know this is on older video, but the links no longer work. Will you tell me the sizes of the beads please?
THANK YOU
Which size of fire polish crystals should I use? Thanks!
Patrícia Miguez If you go download the free pdf from my website (link in the comments)
it will detail all the beads and sizes and quantities. Enjoy!
thank you so much! I love your videos
What size are the fire polished? (At times I think 6 mm. With the smaller fire polished they have to be 8 mm)
THANKS :)
There is a free download of the (written) instructions, as she says, on her website. I imagine it details sizes.
HoneyStace Exactly what Lori Finney said - if you go download the free pdf from my website (link in the comments) it will detail all the beads and sizes and quantities. Enjoy!
what size firepolished beads are you using?
This is nice project to learn, I am on the other side of the world, Is it permissible to just watched and learn from your video?
