@@aureliagst These are dye based watercolors. No pigment in them. Also filled with optical brighteners. Water gets milky and murky when you use them. That means these things are stuffed with optical brighteners. They also dont behave like real watercolors should. They are the cheapest of the cheapest. Paints for kids basically. They are simply crap.

This is indeed a cheap watercolor. but doesn't that mean it's so bad? there are some people who can only afford cheap watercolors. and in my opinion all watercolors, whether cheap or expensive watercolors, will still make the water cloudy. there's no problem with that in my opinion. So what do you want by saying that?
@@aureliagst I mean cheap in quality. This palette costs almost as much as the 24 color FULL pans Sonnet palette from Nevskaya Palitra. And the Sonnets are very good student grade watercolors. So if you can afford these overpriced cheapos, Im sure you can also afford good student grade watercolors. And no. Thats not a question of opinion. Its optical brighteners that make the water cloudy. The more the paint has the cloudier the water looks. Good paints may have a small amount of optical brighteners in them, but not nearly as much as these cheap ones. These have no pigments at all, just dye and optical brighteners to make them look prettier and more appealing. Save ur money and get yourself a small set of good student grade paints. Even the W&N Cotman paints will do, and those are even cheaper than Giorgione.

Please check out my Instagram or UA-cam page, I have also used Nevskaya Palitra White Nights Watercolors and other artist grade watercolors. This is just a review content of trying watercolors that are not artist grade~
