i witnessed that burndown, been watching fuel cars since 1975 and i don't think i ever seen two fuelers run half as long, thought they would soon melt.

Doug’s mother is my first cousin Leanne. Chet was his dad and he was a super guy. Haven’t seen Doug since he moved east or his mom but we used to be very close.
Dougzilla was born long before this incident in my opinion. Back in 92' before Doug started flying his plane into races we would all fly into races together. Doug, Jim Brissette and his wife Carol, Brad Fornes and myself (occasionally if I could get out of school). Getting into a rental car with Doug was the scariest and yet awesome in ways a 14 yr old could barely fathom. Don't piss Doug off or cut him off. Carol Brissette even bought Doug a E-Ticket Ride sign to hang in the back window. Dougzilla was born in 92' for me.
You know everytime I see this it pisses me of Doug claims he didnt start it the way I see it is he did start he ran over there to Clay and was cussing him out WTF was even mad for he didnt stage the damn car either so what gave him the right to go yell at Clay

the same thing happened in Rockingham NORTH CAROLINA, Gilligan, pulled the same childish crap, again, Doug jumped out of his rail and yanked Gilligan out , lifted him like a rag doll, that was the birth of DOUGZILLA!!!
No, you don't get it. That Hummer had nothing to do with it, I get it, you don't like large vehicles and we;'re all supposed to drive those tin can pieces of crap. Oh, and BTW, my small vehicle is a Ford F-350 Crew cab dually.
It wasn't the Hummer driver's fault, get off of it. I drive a semi and was hit head on by a car, I guess it's my fault for driving a large vehicle in my lane? And before you run your mouth, I help at Doug's school to teach kids how to drive around large vehicles.
