If you're a fan of red tiger lotus, I would highly recommend trying out a Barclaya Longifolia 'red'. They can be a bit trickier to find, but, really stunning plant.
I've got Venezuelan cories & black & red sand, gravel & lava rock looks really good with them. Rusted slate is a nice alternative too. I prefer medium to dark substrate colors so the fish show more color & don't look as washed out.
Loving your list although you forgot to mention more green neon tetras for 2025 😅 I can't have the Sicce filter because it's not possible to regulate the flow (I asked Mr Prime Time) and my rasboras and gouramis don't like that 😢
You’re right!! More greenies for ‘25!! At some point I’d like to do a video on options to slow down flow on the sicce - with positioning of the filter and/or hardscape but yes, I also wish it was adjustable. ☺️
I bought a red tiger lily bulb at Aquashella. It has done nothing in my 5 gallon, but now I know why--I didn't know it had to be partly submerged! Thank you!
I would love an in depth review of that filter. How nano is it appropriate for? I have a 5 gallon marineland portrait that I took the built in filter out of and hate the sponge filter I’m using. Is the flow adjustable enough for a small volume of water like that?
@ I think kg tropicals did one but they said it wasn’t adjustable flow and the product specs show that it is. I’d also love to see it actually going in a tank to see its actual size and flow rates
I bought a bulb of Tiger Lily. Wow! After a few weeks in low light it now has 6 pads at the top of my 22 long. 100% recommended.
🙌thanks for sharing that! Woop!
Jason and you have inspired me to try my hand at some aqua scaping. Thank You
I’m gonna have to get me one of those sicce filters. They’d be good for tank hopping and polishing the water column of my many smaller tanks
I only use black sand for all my tanks but that red flint looks nice I like it
Your voice is nice to listen to. Have a great day!
Love that sand
Very nice.

My red tiger lotus exploded in size and color in my community tank, it really is a beautiful plants. Thanks for sharing!

I love that combination!
Love the video
@@k0olmini11 thank you!😊
I really like the lotus. With patience, it'll take place of floaters
Great list. I use the fertilizer from Greg Sage. Good stuff also.
When the video started I immediately thought, ooh look at that sand.
Great video! I’d like to try everything! Tell your fish I say hello back! 😉
🥰 I will do that!
Cool lotus.

@thesmallscape ❤️
You can regulate the flow, there is a regulator on the side.

Great - good luck to you and your little plant! 🌱 ✨
Sometimes bulbs are just duds, and that stinks. If it hasn’t sprouted at all, it probably is bad.
That sand sure looks like it'll match better with a variety of hard scapes. My pfs looks kinda boring now...

Me too. I feel like Jason or someone did one. I'll search for it...
