    In almost every video you say, “I hope this was helpful”. My hope is that you would know just how helpful and inspirational you and Jim are. You’re a gifted teacher Pam, and what a different world we would be living in if more teachers had your gift! Most teachers are well intentioned with huge hearts but do not have the same ability to put such technical information together in a simple, easy to understand format that leaves you going, wow, I get it! Thank you! This is very helpful.

    Wow! You did that in heels! Once you get these things, I find that carrying them out and setting them up is more of a chore then connecting them. But I love your tutorial because it is confusing for us non-electricians. There is a bit of a learning curve, but once you get it, you have to haul it to the backyard.

    THANK YOU so much for these solar videos. You have made the rather confusing process (for me anyway) extremely easy to understand. Honestly, after approximately two years of trying to figure out which brand to go with, extra cables needed, and what would be best for my family’s needs (getting more confused with each video) you taught me within 30 minutes of viewing your videos exactly what I need to know. I appreciate you so much. ❤

    I picked up a Jackery charger but Jackery solar panels were so expensive that I went with an off brand panel. I guess I need to unpack them to be sure they work with the Jackery charger. I might have to go on an adapter search. Thank you for bringing that possibility to my attention.

    I have three portable power stations. They got progressively bigger, lol. I have two suitcase solar panels which are great for the camper van and I can run them in a parallel. I am looking to add regular panels to roof rack. The panels themselves are very affordable imo but the batteries get pricey.

    Video Request Please: Would you consider doing a video testing the Presto Pressure Canner Weighted “Accessory” (5/10/15) which is branded by Presto…in place of the fixed weight regulator that comes with it? I purchased the weight but am afraid to use it. I cannot afford the All American which used a weights to regulate. Your “testing” videos using your computerized tracking system has opened my eyes. I am so grateful for your “test” videos. Thank you

    • @RoseRedHomestead
      @RoseRedHomestead  2 роки тому

      Hi Deb. If you are talking about the 23 quart or 17 quart stovetop Presto, no need to test any of the the stove top canners with the 5/10/15 lib weights--they are all safe and recommended by USDA. I have tested my 23 quart presto and it is very safe.

    • @linhill4516
      @linhill4516 2 роки тому

      What I believe I you are speaking of is replacement of the 15lb regulator weight that comes with the visual gauge instead of the 3 part "weighted gauge". When purchased from presto it comes with paper that states when you use all three parts 15lb setting, it will rock at 16.5lbs. In speaking with Presto that stated this perfectly fine to use. Their only instructions they stated was that you should only choose one or the other, don't jump back and forth between visual gauge and weights. This is very helpful to those of us who don't want stand and stare at the gauge and want to just listen for the proper rocking and get other things done and the pressure can be kept steadier with the weights instead of continually adjusting the temp. Also if you live in a area where you can't get your gauge checked regularly this is the answer!
